This place has been around forever. I remember I'd go to this place in high school back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Back then, along with the now shunted Broadway Bagel, DKs was among the most popular breakfast places in the area aside from the ubiquitous McDonald's or Jack breakfast.I brought my wife here this morning, who originally hails from the East Coast, and has been craving a good breakfast sandwich/bagel. DK's certainly delivered, and she was happy with her selection. DKs is definitely still great place to snag a quick donut and hot breakfast sandwich.
Literally only wanted one donut and a coffee. Lady was rude and I was trying to pay with card and like who has a minimum fee of 7$ or more at a donut shop just to pay with card.

Best selection for local fresh donuts. You have to go early and try this hidden gem in Arroyo Grande

Oh my goodness, the apple fritter is without a shadow of a doubt, the best I have ever tasted. Friggin' outrageously large, super super fresh, amazing texture and perfectly made!!

Love DKs. Have come here for over 20 years. Moved away from CA and still come back whenever I'm in town.Apple Fritter is the best "donut shop" fritter I've had to-date. This is a picture of my 2day old one. Still great ?

This has gotta be one of the best donut shops I have tried in the area. Totally beats the local fancy pastry shops down the streets ! Why? Well I had came later in the day and their donuts were still very moist , not dry , or day old , and each bite was equally sweet and sugared. By the way , they have a VARIETY of near decorated donuts that change daily. That day was minions and ninja turtles when we arrived. Service is same as any donut shop, nothing special. But great variety for sure!
Donuts are always delicious and I'm always happy to buy them there. Great people and great food!

Bad service. Filled with flies and stinks like pine sol although the pace was filthy.
Decent donuts. Staff always seems irritated that you're there.
