Great service, very friendly staff, great portions, salsas arent spicy but delicious flavors to them. Only problem I had (and it's my opinion) I think the burrito would have better flavor with refried beans instead of boiled beans and the asada could use a little more seasoning. Kinda bland, and guac was also bland. But over all, I would still recommend this place and I'll be back for sure to try more things on their massive menu!

So a friend told me about this place and my husband and I were in the mood for Mexican. Had a little trouble finding it if you're on Grand you can drive right past it. But I was coming Oak Park and I didn't realize that it was closer to the Grand Boulevard. They have beer and soft drinks and my husband and I both had a Corona, they were $5.25 each. I had a green wet burrito with Carnitas. There was Carnitas that I wish had a little bit more flavor, beans and rice. My husband had the super quesadilla also with Carnitas. They have chips that you get yourself with different salsas. You can get which was nice. You go to the counter to order and then they bring it to you. It's very small, maybe five tables inside and a few outside. On the website, the menu is missing part of it especially with the different meats they offer. Hopefully they'll get that fixed. They have a wide variety of food something for everybody. On their door, they have DoorDash and Uber eats.

La Parrilla does not mess around. They don't skimp on portions, they don't play with low quality stuff. Also, they have great costumer service. I love it

When I drove up, I thought this place looked a little too nice to have authentic flavor-filled Mexican food but I was wrong. The Tacos Barbacoa and the Tostado de Ceviche were amazing. The fresh salsa bars was incredible with homemade salsa choices. The watermelon Habanero salsa was my favorite and it had quite a kick. I guess it it possible (but rare) to find a nice clean Mexican place that can deliver these flavors. I would definitely go back.

Wife and I ate their last night for the first time. Very impressed. The food was pretty fantastic. I had the tacos, they rival my local favorite in Efren's. I don't recall the name of what my wife ordered, however I had a bite and it was pretty tasty. The rice and beans were good, had some heat to them, though I over ate and couldn't eat it all. The service was nice. It is a small venue but was clean and had a very steady flow of folks coming in. Definitely would recommend and will go back.

Lovely neighborhood restaurant with great food and big portions. The carna asada burrito with added red sauce on top is the best.

DELICIOSO!!! This place is my saving-grace. I wanted Mexican food and came across this place on Yelp! Thank you for these great reviews. I loved my chile verde tostada with all the accoutrements: warm chips, a variety of salsa, pickles, and horchata. Also the Tostada de Especial is served with Ceviche de pescado, con mayonesa, aquacate, tajin y chomoy. The service is excellent and the place is clean. It's located right next door to CVS on Grand Ave. Parking on Grand is the closest. Outdoor seating as well, if you have a dog. Highly recommend.
