We were there on a Saturday night in October for early dinner and were able to park in front of the door. We were seated right away and they brought chips and salsa with our drink order. After we ordered our meal they brought, surprise!, soup. It wasn't included as part of our meal but they said it was on them. Next came our meal and it was good. Lastly they asked if we wanted the dessert. We said, what dessert? They said oh you'll love it and they were right. There was no charge on our bill for the chips, the soup, or the dessert! We were blown away by the experience and we'll definitely go back. YES.

My beloved wife and I chose "Me and Z's" for dinner during our Labor Day weekend 8/1/2022 in Pismo. We hit the place at the perfect time, no wait. There was only one other couple in there at 6:00 p.m.I'd like to start by saying the service was fast, friendly, and continually attentive. They refilled our chips and salsa, our waters, and we were asked if we needed anything multiple times. The place is clean, big inside, with lots of tables. The back patio has another large amount of tables for big groups or lots of parties. There's also plenty of parking in the back as well as a few street parking spaces right in front. The bathrooms were clean and smelled good.When we arrived, we had our pic of tables and chose to sit inside. Menus and water were brought to our table along with a bowl of very tasty salsa and perfectly made chips. We reviewed our menu options, and I selected the Chile Verde enchiladas, my wife ordered the beef taquitos dinner with rice and beans.Before our meal our waitress brought us two bowls of tomato bisque soup, which I found tasty, but Aly, not so much. The rest of the meal was satisfactory, but not amazing. The reviews led me to believe I would get a meal like my mom used to make. For my taste it was a little bland, and my wife's meal was underwhelming. Her taquitos were good her rice and beans were good. Her only complaint was she felt the guacamole tasted a bit off.We ended our meal with a delicious scoop of ice cream, with cinnamon twists and honey. It was delicious and tasty and probably the best part of our meal. I would not say any portion of our food was bad, and I encourage everyone to make their own opinion.

I love eating here. They have a taco salad that is wonderful.After you order they bring you an appetizer. Thursday is a creamy tomato soup. After the meal they bring out a small vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and a small pastry. Yum! There is a large covered patio in the back along with ample parking.
Vegetarian options: They are willing to adjust your order to make it vegetarian.
Parking: Lots of parking in the back.

When burritos are not on the menu, you can count on getting some authentic Mexican dishes from this place. This restaurant is in Arroyo Grande and the food was delicious. Great service and friendly staff. The Chile Colorado was excellent.

Had a work lunch and sat on the back patio, and I did not see the inside. The service was quick and friendly. The lunch option seemed pricey ($18-20), but they do include chips/salsa, soup and ice cream (however, there were no options for soup/ice cream that I was aware of). I had the grilled fish tacos (cod) which were good. Total bill for 6 people was $122 +tip.

Fantastic Mexican food!! There's a great outdoor dining area that offers more space if you're with a larger group or you just want to enjoy eating outside. The the staff is friendly and helpful. There's a sweet little treat included after the meal.
We will be a returned customer! We got a gift card and came to try Me and Z's the first time today. We loved the food and its presentaion. We ordered Fajitas and it came with soup and ice cream dessert. The price is reasonable and the service is good. We will definitely come back.
