I ordered a sundae with chocolate fudge syrup. What i got was a cup with maybe 2 half scoops of ice cream smashed at the bottom. Then 3/4 of the cup was filled with whip cream and a little drizzle of chocolate syrup on top. I paid $10 plus a 20 % tip. When I paid, I didn't know how much ice cream was in the cup. I could have taken my $10 to the store and bought a gallon of ice cream and chocolate syrup. Then I could have ice cream for the rest of the week. Save your money and go to the store and buy ice cream.

This was an Ice Cream shop that was designed like an old fashioned Ice Cream Shoppe. Loads of charm & character and the Ice cream was outstanding

Vegetarian options: Products that were plant based or gluten free were clearly marked.

Dietary restrictions: Products that could cause potential allergic reactions were cleared posted

I love Rori’s Artisanal Ice Cream! For Mothers Day 2024 you offered a special Peach Bellini with specs of mint. Please bring it back as a standard flavor! I love the Arroyo Grande location the most because the ice cream cases there keep the ice cream cold and hard. See how firm these ice cream scoops are? The other locations are smaller, so their coolers cannot freeze the ice cream enough, and my cones start dripping as soon as I leave the shop. Thank you for your email updates on new flavor releases!

I will be back only because my bf loves their milk shakes but it’s not that great. What a disappointing flavor. I guess I will be forced back. I have to say the staff is very nice! ?

Ever since you’ve taken over you’ve closed the public bathrooms at Rori’s. There’s a sign that’s said, “not currently available” for a year now. It’s not that they aren’t currently available, you don’t want to provide them. I feel that is wrong. People travel from far away for ice cream, yet you can’t provide them a restroom? That is just not right!

Was driving on the freeway and the female driver of the delivery van refused to let traffic merge, driving aggressively and laughing about it to her passenger... love the branding

My family and I had delayed going to this ice cream shop as they received very poor reviews when they first opened in Arroyo Grande. But this weekend we went to the Arroyo Grande Village. First, we went to Hubbalicious, and tasted their ice cream. Their ice cream had no flavor. So, we decided to try Rori's Artisanal Creamery. The ice cream is VERY DELICIOUS! We loved the Coffee ice cream and the Dark Chocolate ice cream. The service was excellent too. My only complaint is that they were out of whip cream. I had bought a sundae, but it felt more like a 2 scoop ice cream as it had no whip cream and no cherry. I think I paid too much for 2 scoops with a little hot fudge and cone crumbs. But it was very good! We will definitely return!

Just went to buy $52 of ice cream. Gave them a $100 bill. Was told “we cannot take a bill over $20, I explained that for $52 of ice cream I should be able to pay $100 for it, they refused to take my $100 even though I offered them 5 different $100 bills. The “manager” became part of the conversation and told me “their bank will not accept $100 bills.” I will not buy anything from them again untill they can figure out what a $100 bill looks like

Unfortunately this place seems to have sucked the soul out of the building. Comparing it to Doc Burnsteins is like night and day. I really really wanted to like this place, but it just absolutely fell flat on all accounts. They kept the train but little else remains and it literally feels like a bland movie set. Everything is bland, white and not colorful or cheerful. There are also not any chairs for people who are disabled or not skinny. Good luck fitting into a booth if you are most people in this country. The stools are not great for children to sit on. My mom literally fell onto the floor getting out of the booth and none of the workers even noticed or offered to help us at all. Yes she did not want to make a fuss and didn't yell or anything, but come on. The workers were nice when we directly interacted, but no one greeted us, no one offered samples, and it was just such an overall bland experience. They painted over the murals on the walls. The historical photos are all gone. There are no community announcements or any involvement or feel of community in there at all. The menu is confusing, as they mention toppings on the kids menu but they don't bother listing them anywhere. They're in jars that look like decorations just sitting in the middle of the two ice cream displays. Also, why do you have one freezer closed but with the names of the flavors on there? Just have them all open at once like they used to? The ice cream I got was okay. It was banana but it just wasn't anything great. There was not a depth of flavor. The chocolate for kids is dark salted chocolate and way too rich. All in all we just felt like we had such high hopes and the whole experience was a complete let down. The word bland just perfectly describes how this place feels which is unfortunate. Someone just needs to inject some life into this woefully mediocre ice cream shop.
