Waited 45 minutes for two plates. Corn beef and hash with potatoes and over easy eggs. 3 meat omelet with hashbrowns. Had a other couple come in after us. Got sat, ordered their food, got their food within minutes and we were still waiting. Got out plates after making a complaint and got my omelet RAW. Cheese in the middle was a frozen block not even melted. Asked for a box within 5 minutes of getting our plate. And after ALL THAT all we got were our drinks of coffee and orange juice taken off our $50 bill. Very very disappointed.

Best place to eat breakfast for sure I take my mom once a week if I can. Such wonderful staff and delicious food.

I wouldn't recommend the Special (Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast.) For $15.95—yes, that’s correct $15.95—it consists of just two pieces of white bread, a couple of strawberries, a bit of cream cheese, and some whipped topping. No eggs, no sides, nothing substantial to justify the price. Sadly, it was more disappointing than indulgent. Definitely not worth it.

I love Village Cafe!! Monday with Albondigas soup from scratch and shared a whole biscuits and gravy with my dad!

This charming cafe is everything you remember best about the breakfast and lunch place where you grew up. Very home cooked, simple all American fare that's very well done. There's a wonderful variety of homemade muffins, standard breakfast items and sandwiches. Nothing too fancy and everything's delicious. You feel like part of the family by the end of your meal.

Nice place. Seems a routine stop for locals, not there is anything wrong with that.
Great, super friendly staff, good food
We were passing through the area, took a chance and simply stopped to get a bite. It worked out perfectly.

Amazing breakfast! Generous portions and made as requested. Service is very friendly and we were well taken care of. Would recommend you pass the hipster bakery cafe and eat here!

Went for Eggs Benedict. Waitress advised it was spicy. Wish it would have stated that online.

Went in on a Sunday morning, mildly busy but servers were overwhelmed and were clearly bothered. We ordered basic pancake, scrambled eggs and bacon plate for my kids and the eggs were runny and not fully cooked. We also ordered the special, which was huevos rancheros and the taste was edible at best. Our coffee was refilled only once as we basically paid our check, which they also don't mention that credit has a "non-cash" fee of $2.50; this is included in their tip suggestion. Subtract that and gross down the total because the bill was not itemized to get your actual total. Would not consider this place a 4.5 and at best 3.5.

Great service
Over med eggs came so underdone and slimy. I was starving so I tried to make it work: I took a huge bite of eggs and sopped up the egg with toast and decided ti ask for new eggs over med: server was instructed by cook that I would get one egg cooked over med back because I had “eaten one of them”. I was simply wanting two eggs cooked thr way I ordered. That part I did actually eat was slimy and gross

I’m baffled. I was just starving and wanted to eat . In my opinion it wasn’t worth one egg to lose a customer.

Service was fantastic

How can I not say how great this place is? I’ve grownup around the area and the waiters and staff have always made me feel like I was home.

I would definitely recommend the cinnamon roll. It comes with this pink cream cheese frosting that is absolutely to die for!

If you want something more tangible go for their burrito or anything with eggs. They always cook it to perfection!

You have to dine-in for your first time there. It’s also surrounded by some other great businesses so don’t forget to check those too!

Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. All the elderly that frequent love to watch kids being kids.
