There many Indian food choices on Pioneer, come only because new and good reviews. They have simple menu, but it took more than 40 minutes to get the over cooked food ready? Just give a try and won't come back for lunch for sure.

So the name serves it well because they are very welcoming. Felt like I was at my aunts place and not a restaurant. They even went to great lengths of changing their menu to accomodate me by adding "bhinda nu shaak" (okra). And all of their food was just comforting and not heavy. Lastly, whenyou enter here your name, regardless of what you mom named you, turns into Prabhu (i assume devi for women lol idk). And they treat you like so! This is rajdhani without the bloated feeling.

This place was recommended to us by someone at Pioneer Cash and Carry Market when we asked for a suggestion for a restaurant for lunch. It's just down the road a block from the grocery and located in a shopping center with plenty of free parking which was a bonus since all the spots along the street are metered parking. We were greeted warmly and the food was fresh and delicious. The spice level was just perfect, very authentic Chana masala and daal. We ended the meal with a cup of Chai which had the most unique flavor, not something you'd get from a grocery store. Will definitely eat here again and next time I have a party I may consider this place because they also do catering for parties.

Please try all there different Non-Veg dishes, Goat & Lamb is slow cooked & the taste is so like grand mothers. Eggs Bhurji is awesome. I gave 5 star because the place is Clean, staff is friendly, Owner is always there. There are many non-veg places in Artesia but the taste here is like Home made.
