I have been a regular customer of Udipi and PODI Dosa. Couple of weeks ago my family and I tried Amaravathi, and I was amazed by food quality, service and staff hospitalities. I finally found the test of India.

Ordered chicken fried rice with chili garlic flavour. It was a disaster. Called back to complain, and they didn't even remedy for it. Waste of money and my stomach. Disappointed.
Update: manager did call me and offered replacement. Will check how that is and update.

Biryani is amazing . We ordered vijaywada paneer biryani and it was really delicious with the spice . Also paneer 65 was great . Dal fry was good for kids . Overall food quality is 5/5 . Best food in LA . Must visit . Small note on the front desk person , he was upper cool helped us find places to visit and also helped on food suggestions . Great people at the restaurant.

On the evening of 10/01/2024, around 5:20 PM, I ordered Vijayawada Dum biryani over the phone while leaving from work. I picked it up around 5:40 when I got home and opened the food. I found basmati rice spread on top and chicken curry below. I drove back to the restaurant with the biryani, showed them that this was not Dum biryani, and asked for a refund. However, the workers kept arguing with me, and when I called the owner, Ravi, he said no refund would be given. I called 911 and reported that they were cheating, but the cops said I needed to report consumer complaints. Artesia has excellent Indian restaurants, and I wanted to try the biryani at this MF place, but they gave me a hard time. I left food without getting a refund, even though they said they would give me another biryani. I didn't trust them. This new restaurant is not worth it in terms of Authentic Indian food.
The taste of Chicken 65 Biryani and Amravati Biryani is the same, all the gravy taste & flavor is the same. Pathetic tandoori chicken.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times. The food was delectable. Recently I ordered food for a function I had at home. Everyone really enjoyed it and my huest went back for seconds and thirds. The biryani was a hit and so were the starters. I also love that they open early, so you can enjoy breakfast before the rest of stores open in the area.
