One of the worst food i ever had....JUST STAY away, dont even bother to try
i got biryani and told very clearly MILD - for my kid
forget abt the spicy level (if they made upfront), but the taste was horrible, does not even taste like biryani. looks like some chkn pieces with pickle rice..
same goes with chkn curry, ordered mild, but horrible taste.
if you also want to give 1 star rating, then go and try

We had a wonderful time at Anjappar when we visited two weeks back. Generally our experience dining in any Indian restaurant would be great food, but service not so great.
Not here. At Anjappar, we were pleasantly surprised by the great service as much as the variety of food. The food is very authentic south India, Chettinad cuisine. Spicy and flavorful. The service was very customer centered, they went out of the way to even make some of the foods that was not on their menu. The manager personally attended to our needs. Great appreciation for how differently they are focusing on customer experience. Great job.

Please check the takeout orders before you leave the restaurant. One of the Order in my takeout was missing and I reported it. Restaurant said someone will call back to get the credit card details for refund but no one has reached me back.
This Indian restaurant shines with its rich, authentic flavors. The mutton biryani is a standout—tender meat, fragrant rice, and perfectly balanced spices. The fish fry is crispy, spicy, and deliciously tangy. Other highlights include creamy butter chicken and paneer tikka. Warm ambiance and attentive service complete the experience. A must-visit for Indian food lovers!

Incredible, authentic Indian food; their goat Briyani is as close to the real Tamil dish as you can get. The staff and management are awesome.

The franchise owner is using the name of a reputed restaurant chain, but the food being served is of poor quality. It's also not managed well.
I had to wait a long time after I placed the order to get my food, the quality of food being served has deteriorated significantly.

Good non vegetarian food. The vegetarian thali was really not worth at all. If you are from India and ever had a good thali you will hate this one. So pls never order it
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options but not sure how would they taste. Have just tried the thali

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Anjappar!
The food was nothing short of exceptional—each dish was bursting with rich, authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The food was especially outstanding, with tender textures and a depth of flavor that truly delicious. Every bite reflected the care they put in the kitchen, every thing tasted fresh.
Another point that is important to me is the an establishment is clean, and they did not disappoint, everything was spotless and the plates and utensils REALLY clean, which I really appreciate. There has been restaurants I like where I have to ask for a new set because they aren’t clean enough.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure we had a great experience. They offered excellent recommendations and made sure we felt welcome from start to finish. We even got complementary dessert!
Thank you Sumanth for being so nice and friendly! He make sure to explain dishes to us and letting us know they had a high level of spice.
If you’re looking for an authentic and delicious Indian meal with outstanding customer service, look no further! I can’t wait to return and try more dishes. Highly recommend

Food was delicious each plate was full of flavor and the server/host was incredible friendly and welcoming. Butter chicken masala was very tasty. The mushroom friend rice was to die for. The chilli panner was a great introduction. Traditionally local beer was 10/10. Naan were tasty and a great compliment. I miss the picture of the desert but save some space for it.
