As a fervent lover of hotpot cuisine, I had the pleasure of dining at boiling point hotpot recently, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. After a long wait, my party was so excited to finally be seated and order. Our server brought us water and said he would come right back. Instead he forgot about us. The seat behind us got in after us and already was being served soup while we still hadn't ordered. We tried to flag down different servers and none would make eye contact nor ask if we were being helped. Only one server was nice enough to finally check up on us and apologize. We will not be coming back to this location.

Food is always good and flavorful but the wait is RIDICULOUS!!!We arrived at 12:55PM , seated at 1:25PM , and at 1:55PM we are still waiting for the food to come!!! OMG !! the place is not crowded at all!! the number of staff is equal the number of guests . but this long of wait is unbelievable !!if I would have known this , I would not come and wait!! they should have told the guests the expected waiting time so that we can decide to wait or not !!

I really like this place. I definitely go at least once a month. Every time I go, I order medium spicy beef and gravy rice. The staff at this branch are friendly. In fact, there was a small problem when I went this time, but they solved it well. So I had a satisfying meal today as well.Parking: Plenty of free parking right in front of the store

This place was horrible. The beef had more veggies than beef. The service was not there and we were ignored the entire time. Our server had no product knowledge at all and when I asked him what was in the soup he didn't know. Me and my boyfriend left hungry felt disappointed in the amount of money we spent on food that did not satisfy us and we never got the chance to tell our server because he never acknowledged us. The fact that my mouth was burning from the pot that he never turned off... and he never brought our water we asked for. I really wish this place had more training in serving. So bad we had to go to in n out

Something changed about this place. It's now all cabbage and the flavors not there anymore. No wonder there's no more lines.Service was also terrible. Lots of empty tables but they wouldn't seat us.

The soup is ok , very little of meat. Beef flavor but all I see is vegetables. however, the employees just walk around without asking customers if they want to turn off the fire or refill the soup (compare to Irvine location) Until we finish our food .
The service was not great and we order three drinks and they did not have any of those made until we reminded them. The food was good but the drinks did not taste like how they typically did. Each time I go to boiling point and get their honey green milk tea, it is a roulette on whether or not the boba will be good that day. It's clear their employees are only trained on how to make hot pot and not boba.

Excellent Taiwanese hot pot! Have been here many times and they are consistent.My latest visit had many people waiting outside and very few diners. I actually asked the server named John and he was really honest and open. He said it’s really overwhelming for the cooks back there since they are cooking these soups in high heat in the oven. It made complete sense.John was a really good server, food came out in a timely manner and we were checked on at the right times.Will be back again soon!

Not worth the wait.The food was good, but the service was terrible. We waited for an hour for a table, half an hour for food, and a half hour after finisher dinner for our check. Of the six or so people staffed that night, only two were helping seat people and serve tables; the other four were standing around chatting. I'll wait in line for Hot Pot somewhere where the food is good AND the staff are respectful to their customers.

Craving for some hot pot in the area. Got my craving satisfied! I miss hot pot from boiling point! Feel nostalgic of food in 626. Service was good. You view menu from QR code that hangs from the bottom of the table. Good ambiance. Chairs need to be clean before new customers comes in but other than that. Great food and drinks.

This has become our favorite spot. There are 2 locations we have tried, 1 in Garden Grove and 1 in Cerritos. This is the best of the two. Different chefs make it their own way. The broth here is just tasty and good, we choose #4 Beef and it is enough for both my daughter, age 11 and I to share as we are small eaters. We ordered to go the Milk Curry #6 which definitely taste like curry. The service here hired sweet and kind employees who check in on you. However, this place on weekdays gets busy by noontime. And weekends, it is already busy by 11:30am. Therefore, it's always a wait. To us though, it is worth it. To go orders take 15 minutes, if you don't care to wait and want to just eat at home. Make sure you take your free tea. Lunch special here is worth it and the only time we ever go. We live in HB but dislike the taste of Boiling Point near us and the service is just horrible. We have to give a shout out to our waitress today, she was so pleasant, "on top of it", made us feel so relaxed, welcomed and truly served us! Look for "Mika" because she is an added gem to the foods you eat to make your dining experience enjoyable. We would go back just to say, "Hi Mika" because she was awesome. Thanks Mika for fantastic service! My daughter left saying, "wow, that was a really nice waitress mommy, she was so cool".
