Came here for the hype and it was pleasant and enjoyable but nothing to really rave aboutThe server was really nice and accommodating when we were deciding on what drinks and add ons to orderWe ordered a couple of the classic milk teas and again, I'd come back here if I was in the neighborhood but wouldn't go too far out of my wayMapo Tots: Maybe get? It's a fun loaded tots idea but the two flavors don't really go hand in handFood/Drinks: 6/10Service: 8/10Atmosphere: 6/10Value: 6/10

Stumbled upon bopomofo cafe from a friend’s recommendation. It has a vibrant and modern feel, though the space itself is pretty small. The staff is friendly and the drink choices are all high quality and well put together, if a bit pricier. When we went, they had a weekly afternoon special where you could pay whatever price you wanted as a donation for a drink from a select menu. Parking lot is a bit small and cramped. But otherwise great choice for coffee and tea in the area.

I've heard of this place and wanted to try it out since I was eating in the same plaza. I liked that this place has some more unique flavors than your typical boba place. I opted for the Ba-La Matcha, which consisted of pure guava nectar, lactose free milk, and matcha. The drink was very refreshing and tropical. The boba had a great texture to it. Overall, I was pleased with my selection.

Omg my new favorite boba shop.So sad this place was not too close to my house or else I will stop by daily.Got recommended by my best co-worker.We ordered their popcorn chicken spicy( must try), honey walnut shrimp burger with tots (must try), orange wangl, and jasmine milk tea with boba. The food was soooo gooood and I love that they don’t used artificial flavor syrup. Price was reasonable for our lunch and boba. The boba texture was perfectly cooked. Definitely will come back to show my mom my new favorite boba place.

I followed Wongfu when I was younger, so I heard about their boba shop. I was curious. Tried it a few times, and the food. I was impressed. Is there anything Wongfu can't do? I'm in love with the corn tea. It has real corn in it. It is surprisingly good, and hard to find despite all the boba varieties available locally. I get it every time, because that's how in love with it I am.The food is surprisingly good. It's even good in terms of restaurant quality-- not just compared to boba shops. I tried the mapo tots, their rice dishes, their sandwiches on pineapple bread-- this is how you do fusion. Everything is flavor, delicious, well prepared, and interesting.

I've always been so curious about this place because I always see people walking in and out of it so I was super excited to try it!The place itself is super clean. I went on a Friday afternoon so it was a bit packed. It's definitely a nice spot to study or to chat with your friends. The staff were really sweet, very helpful with my questions! I found out they don't take cash which sucks, but it's understandable.I got an Iced Matcha Latte because I figured that I've never been here, maybe I should stick to something basic. The drink surprised me, I thought it was super good. I'm usually picky with my matcha lattes, but I thought this was amazing. The menu itself was interesting, definitely come here if you want to be adventurous with your drinks!I would definitely come here again! I'm intrigued by the Honey Walnut Shrimp Burger, and I think I want to try the Carrot Matcha Latte next!!

Everything could have been a leeeeeetle (or a lot) better. Drinks were watery and didn’t look enticing. Food was okay, but also not amazing. Was hoping for improved menu and drinks lid but sadly came back to the same thing despite it all….

The staff were super nice and knowledgeable on their products. Today we got their Assam Black Tea (milk and black tea) and Brown Sugar Latte, they only had two sizes and we got their smallest one, with boba which is an additional $0.75 so each drink came out to $6.56. WARNING: They only take card payments! With the price tag being higher than other boba locations I was super excited to try their premium quality ingredients. I do want to add that taste is subjective but in our experience it tasted like any other boba shop and the effects were the same as well in terms of caffeine. The inside also looks very nice and tidy it really shows how much they care about their appearance and work environment. I also want to add that having pictures on their menu for hot foods are a great touch. For a busy day today the parking was pretty easy since the parking lot is big in this compound.

Nice boba drinks, but not for everyone. The boba here is absolutely delicious! It's always chewy and they give you a decent amount. The drinks we got were also tasty, but the menu is very limited. If you're picky, you might not be able to find something you'll like because most of their drinks have unusual flavor combinations. If you're adventurous and want to try something new, then this place is for you! The price is also slightly higher than the average boba shop because the regular size is already pretty expensive and the difference between their two sizes is $1. The menu also offers many food options, but didn't get a chance to try anything. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop, though. It had a very modern and chic vibe that we don't see often. The bobarista that took our order and made our drinks was also super nice. She explained the menu and even asked about our day (which we really appreciate because we had a bad day). Stop by if you're in the area and give them a try!

The FoH was so nice in helping me choose what drink to get/ make adjust to the snack. There was plenty of seating on a Tuesday night and there's outlets on the large table too. Very clean surrounding and a good place for meet up/ studying. Hopefully will be back soon!

I had an hour to spear before my appointment that was around this area and needed to get some work done, so i googled for a coffee place. I didn't really want to go to a Starbucks or Panera per say. So i found a small coffee shop, however it turned out there were closed, but instead pleasantly surprised, i found this coffee shop instead. There is a Bopomofo by my house in SGV, and remembering i haven't been to one in a long time, and needed a space to work, i came here. The space is quite cute, its small but warm enough for a welcome. They have some cute cafe music played in the background (i may say - it is slightly too loud, but it might be to used to drown out the kitchen sound in the back as there isn't quite a door to close that sounding.I came on a soft opening Monday, i did not know they didn't open money, and they were doing a donation money in which all the money goes to donation cause they choose. I guess this falls on a random day each month which i find it really nice that they are doing that. However the down side is they're not selling food today, and i came wanting to try their food options! its okay though, i will try again next time! The parking plaza isn't too busy, which is a huge plus compare to their other location where street parking was limited but so was their actual parking lot. the other spot the space was smaller as well.I will definitely come back to try the other stuff on their menu! The staff are all very friendly! I am excited to see where this place goes! There is working wifi here as well!

If this Merry Berry is not Christmas in a cup, I don’t know what is! It’s soooo good ? The seasonal menu items are all great, but for food I’ve decided on getting the Hainan chicken tacos… one word: YUMMM!!! Also, I wish I had more time to stay and dined in, the natural light shining in would have been perfect for a boba-and-read session. Next time!!Dietary restrictions: Lactose-free milk and oak milk are available!
