As a Muslim, I was extremely excited there was a so say Halal Pizza restaurant in Cerritos California, I drove all the way from Marina Del Rey, once I got there I saw Alcohol adds on the window, I thought I was at the wrong place, so I went inside to be sure and I asked the cashier and she said "yes this is Chicago style pizza with a twist" I said and this is a halal pizza restaurant? She said " WE SERVE HALAL as she handed me a menu. As I scanned it I saw Canadian Bacon, Italian sausage, so I asked, what it was and she said " the bacon is Ham" I said you mean PORK she said yes, I said so is the Italian sausage pork as well, she said yes. Well if you have ever watch how pizza is made you will see they pick up all of your items with the same 90% ungloved hands, cook it then cut it with the same knife all other pizza is cut with. Just imagine a busy weeked and they are making many, many pizzas, how easy it is to slip and mix your so say halaI meat with someone elses PORK meat, THINK ABOUT THAT, it could happen. I guess that is the twist they advertise a little PORK JUICE ON YOUR SO SAY HALAL PIZZA. Not to mention I didn't see any Halal sign or proof aka certification, saying Halal/ Zabihah, and trust me, I was looking, only inside the folded menu with the PORK items. Muslims please do not support the place, it is not for the Muslims at all. Tell every Muslim you know they are TRICKING YOU, BEWARE!DO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU! HALAL MIXED WITH PORK EQUALS HARAM! Please DON'T GO THERE!.

I honestly don’t understand how this place is still open. Truly awful. I was looking forward to trying something different but they’re rude and food was terrible.

The name is a bit misleading (they don't serve a Chicago style pizza). They serve an Indian style pizza which is excellent. The the crust is thin and soft at the same time, the pizza we like uses a curry sauce instead of a tomato sauce that ranges from mild to very spicy. The toppings range from vegetarian to chicken to lamb. It seems to bo set up for take out traffic, the booths are a bit on the snug side and didn't see any restrooms. We've been going there for couple of years now and have yot to be disappointed.

Got glutened here. He offers a gluten free pizza but there was regular flour on it. I’ve been sick since then. The pizzas are also very tiny and the toppings are too sparse. A total joke of a restaurant.Dietary restrictions: He does not accommodate for gluten allergy

This is incredible.I have several friends that are vegan and finding options for them is not easy half the time. But this location has multiple vegan options, My friend and I decided to get the vegan butter chicken pizza. The fake chicken wasn't that good, but the sauce was exceptional, the vegan cheese they used actually crisps and melts, and everything had excellent flavor.Service was great, the location was clean, I highly recommend this.Vegetarian options: There's a lot of vegetarian and vegan options.

Freaking chicken curry pizza and the curry cheese bread. Love this place and so happy I found it. I have brought friends here to test it out and they usually order regular pizza and snark me for what I get, then they smell it and say "can I have some?". You must try it you haven't.

This place is super low-key but has loads of character. There's seating but it's mostly tight little booths, so if you come with a group prepare to spread out across tables. I came in with my husband and my teen and we ordered two medium pizzas and two fountain drinks; the total, including tip, came out to close to $50 which I thought was kind of steep....until I tasted the pizza. Worth it. We ordered the spicy achari chicken pizza and a paneer tikka masala pizza:The spicy achari was the favorite at the table -- a slow building heat with a generous amount of chilis, chicken, cheese, onions, garlic, ginger, and cilantro over a creamy garlic-y sauce. Absolutely delicious. Paneer Tikka Masala was delicious but tricky to taste after the spicy tanginess of the other pizza. It was definitely milder and creamier, with mushrooms and tomato adding to its umami flavor. The paneer on the pizza was firmer than anticipated, which gave this pizza an interesting texture. All in all, I would recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys inspired pizzas. We'll be back to try the keema one sometime!

Highly recommend getting the halal chicken tikka masala pizza and achari chicken pizza . The quality of the dough thickness fermentation of yeast is on point. The sauce is flavorful and fresh.Service is amazing as they take your order and customize your pizza as you like it. The fact that they have gluten free crust and vegan cheese options is a plus as a nutritionist I can choose what I like on my pizza. There's always fun Punjabi music playing inside when we pick up our order. This is a great place if you love Indian food and pizza. Highly recommend .
