Great selection of ready-made vegan treats and hard-to-find vegan asian ingredients

New owners took over Veggie Delight are super friendly, very helpful & most important makes the dopest vegan Taiwanese dishes!! I always come here when I crave Taiwanese dishes or treats!! They are not a full vegan shop but they cook everything separate & non-vegan products are in separate freezer. Got some vegan Dongzhi (sticky rice dumplings) to celebrate Lunar 5/5 Duan Wu Holiday!! Call to make sure they are open & when they prepare fresh hot bento boxes!!

First time visiting after change of ownership, Da-Sheng retained most of Veggie Delights menu but also offer meat bento, hence the name change. Ordered soy duck bento $10, big portion and tasty. Love love leaf jelly cake thingy! It's like a savory flat mochi stuffed with bamboo shoots, soy, and mushrooms. Yummy!

No receipt, no idea why they don't provide a itemized receipt, other than a credit card charge receipt. Flavor was okay, for freshly made Benton, stir fried vegetarian rice noodle and vegetarian stir fried noodle to pork and cabbage baos in the fridge, not sure of grass jelly cake and pork feet from freezer yet, the only veggie was Chinese Cauliflower in Benton, a huge disappointment from a farm to table place.

Delicious and nutritious. How often can you combine those two words for vegan food when it's not your lifestyle? And it was reasonably priced. . Be prepared to take food to go as there is no seating but with that said, you will really enjoy the meal. I had their Orange Chicken and it was soooo good. I will definitely go back.

My roots are Hong Kong, but I'm a Taiwanese food fanatic that grew up in the San Gabriel Valley area. I love this small Taiwanese food hub, and the fact that they've created a separate vegan menu~ so modern and relavant . Owner is Taiwanese who, also from the SGV area at some point, knows how to make good Taiwanese food. She's super nice and I had such a good time hearing about her own Taiwanese roots. Would 100% come back! *Secretly hoping they'll do Taiwanese breakfast foods soon! haha

I used to frequent the previous place and loved it. I was nervous my favorite foods would be gone but Da-Sheng makes them even better. They now offer meat items but thankfully the vegan food is still available. The owner is so sweet; I can hear the passion she has for traditional Taiwanese food when she describes it and then when you taste her food you know for sure she loves her craft! There is a variety of home made refrigerated and frozen items, as well as some premade frozen vegan mock meats. Last time I was here I took home some freshly made onion buns, frozen taro buns, chinese sauerkraut with stir fry gluten and ready eat warm taro jelly, sweet red bean jelly, and another jelly with savory filling. The fluffy steamed buns are perfection and they are very easy to reheat. The crunchy sauerkraut and chewy gluten make for a delicious side dish with the perfect amount of tang and great textures. If you like mochi you will enjoy the sticky red bean jelly cake which is slightly sweet with lots of chew and silky red beans inside. Today I had the black pepper beef bento and my absolute favorite whole wheat bun sandwiches. The bento had peppered gluten, stir fry cabbage, sliced pickle, steamed rice with a delicious mushroom topping, and some of the delicious sauerkraut and gluten. I enjoyed every bite. It has all been so flavorful and delicious with so many wonderful textures. Nothing bland or soggy here. So glad Da-Sheng took over and made it their own. Can't wait to be back

This place has all of your nostalgic Taiwanese snack food. This is a walk up and grab and pay kind of place. No space to sit. Plenty of frozen and fresh food to select from. If not sure what to get it if it's the right one, the ladies there are super helpful. You'll even get a mini lesson on Taiwanese like I did when I tried to speak in my broken Taiwanese.

Great service and great vegan food. I ordered the vegan lunch box with BBQ pork and a Taiwanese sandwich. Both were delicious and nutritious. They offer both vegan and non vegan options, I believe. Please support this business!

Lots of options, good for those lazy days when you don't want to cook. They do offer meat options for the bento boxes and refrigerated/frozen items which is surprising

The lady behind the counter was very sweet and we appreciated all of her tips and suggestions. The food itself was delicious and just as top notch as the service. It's a small place which makes me feel as though they actually care about the food they prepare. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone in the mood for Asian and/or vegan food. Thanks for having us--can't wait to go back!

New owner is very sweet, caring, and friendly. Recommended the best items for lunch and explained all options in detail. Most importantly: Amazingly tasty and fresh vegetarian food for a good price!! Will be back every Wednesday.

Loved this place! We stopped in to get the vegan lunch box and it was great! We got a "chicken" fillet box and a "shrimp" one both were great. We tried out the veggie ham sandwich too and we loved it! The food is simple but really good. They give you a lot of food and it's so affordable! We really enjoyed it. We got the 2 lunch boxes and the sandwich and a box of milk tea for $21! Love it! We will definitely be coming back and getting lunch again. **note they DO take card! And they do serve meat in addition to lots of vegetarian/vegan options but everything looked separate so you won't accidentally get something with real meat if you are a veg head. :) it seemed like they had more veg options than not so that was good
