We had a fantastic dining experience at Green Banana Leaf in Artesia on July 20th. My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and their baby joined me, and the meal was beyond what we expected. The food was full of authentic Filipino flavors — vibrant and delicious.

We shared the Vegan Kare-Kare as our main and added three appetizers. Portions were generous, and the Fried Tofu and Ampalaya Salad were big hits. The Lettuce Wrap tasted great, though we think using a crisper lettuce would improve it even more.

The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere and was very clean and comfortable. Service was exceptional — our server was friendly and attentive. She even went out of her way to find us next door at the market after we accidentally left the baby’s backpack. We really appreciated her kindness and quick action.

Highly recommend Green Banana Leaf for anyone looking to enjoy quality Filipino cuisine in a welcoming setting.

Tried Halo-Halo for the first time after watching 100's of Youtube videos. So disappointed 😢 it had 1/2 cup of green jello and about 4 beans. then it was 1 of each jelly. Never going back

Would recommend the ginataang sitaw and squash and the sweet, crispy pata and sour fish. Great service and home cooking style.

Green Banana Leaf came highly recommended by a childhood friend from Buena Park, and it did not disappoint! I brought my Korean friend for his first Filipino food experience, and I’m so glad it was a hit. After being in the US for over a month and a half, I was really craving authentic Filipino flavors—and this place delivered.

We had Pancit Bihon, Lumpiang Shanghai, Grilled Pampano, and Fried Rice—all cooked perfectly and full of delicious, familiar tastes. The pancit was well-seasoned, the lumpia was crispy and flavorful, and the grilled pampano was fresh with a perfect char. I also enjoyed a refreshing glass of Sago’t Gulaman, which brought back memories of home.

Special shoutout to our Filipina server (I forgot her name, but she’s Ilongga and very sweet) for making the experience even better with her warmth and great service. We’ll definitely be back!

Green Banana Leaf is inside a plaza, can be chaotic to find parking on weekend lunch hours as it is near other popular food/ drink places such as bopomofo and 86 cafe.We ordered arroz caldo ( Filipino chicken ginger congee ), it is pretty good! I like the gingerly taste and warmness. We also ordered the pancit ( stirred fried rice noodle with pork ), the portion is large and we take the rest home after. The combination with the rice noodle, cabbage, pork , green onion and shrimp is pretty tasty. Although the shrimp is a little bit smaller.Service is pretty good, the lady is friendly, ask to refill our water, saw our table is a little bit dirty and offer to wipe it down for us.Inside they have a karaoke stage, and projector of music videos, music is lively. We went during lunch and haven’t seen people on stage but the music is soothing to hear. Inside the restaurant is mostly decorated green and red theme- like Christmas lol.Would recommend this place!

Parking: Parking on weekend lunch hour is a little bit chaotic since there are other popular restaurants around

The lomi was so gelatinous that there was hardly any broth. I’m disappointed because the one from Chino Hills was really delicious that’s why we went to try this location. The chicken in the molo soup and chicken sisig had bits of tiny bones. It’s good we saw them before we can swallow them. The bangus sisig was so bland.

This place is a little pricey and the food if not that good, I had an order of chichen adobo and rice and it was $22 which I don't mind paying if the food is good, but this place lives a lot to be desired.
