Went here upon reading the reviews. It's not bad, but I was craving more flavor from the dishes. Perhaps I'm used to MSG in my Chinese food and am okay with it.I ordered the salt and pepper pork chops, shrimp with black bean sauce, Mongolian beef, and house fried rice.Overall, not bad, but I am used to stronger flavors.

The staff are so generous and full of courtesy! The food is amazing, and the lobster, they didn't have it, so they got a fresh one from the supermarket by them and made it well.

Our go-to place when I have a craving for Chinese food. Their food is delish, service is great, and prices are reasonable. Hubby and I always get their salted pepper fried sole. It was a big fish fried to a perfect crisp. Their French style filet beef was soooo good. It was very tender and flavorful. We took home lots of leftovers and enjoyed them the next day. Just popped the fish in the air fryer and it was still delicious!

Happy Bee, Happy MeFormerly Rice on Dish, Happy Bee Kitchen has been on my weekly food rotation. Delicious Chinese food, served by friendly & caring staff who remembers their customers. As per usual, lunch specials are what I go for when it comes to Chinese food.Stir-fried beef w/ ginger & scallions-So tender! Beef, in all it's iterations, is my litmus test for a Chinese restaurant, and Happy Bee's stir-fried beef w/ ginger & scallions is a winner. Packed with flavor, I'd order this again in a heartbeat. That is, if I don't choose Mongolian beef.Peking duck-Love that crispy skin! The Peking duck was succulently decadent. The meat was unctuous with all the duck fat, and when paired with baos, vegetables & sauce, a filling & satisfying entree.Curry chicken-Normally I don't order curry dishes, as most restaurants (usually Thai) serve curry with more potatoes than protein. Here, at Happy Bee, I'm delighted to say their curry chicken was predominantly chicken. Oh so tender chicken! The bell peppers & curry provided a good amount of heat, enhanced by the addition of chili oil on my part. Really good!Service has been excellent. The staff have always been hospitable & cheerful the times I've been at Happy Bee. A good amount of seating via tables & booths, with 1 large banquet table w/ a Lazy Susan. Parking is at the 99 Ranch Plaza, with Happy Bee located next to It's Boba Time & Let's Sea Bag n' Roll at the southside of the plaza.Wonderful food, wonderful people. Happy Bee Kitchen is one of my favorite places to eat weekly. I'm having a delightful time exploring their menu, and am looking forward to what culinary delight awaits me next. Highly recommend!

I rate this place a 3 solely based on customer service and I will never go back. Food is good but the gentleman behind the counter was rude.

I don't like to write negative reviews because I know small mom & pop shops work so hard to provide quality dishes & services as they compete with other restaurants. I have eaten at this restaurant many times & had no issues however this afternoon my friend was giving the waitresses constructive criticism about their Hanan chicken as they were talking in Chinese among themselves. We were still waiting for additional dishes to be delivered to our table. So I'm speculating the waitresses discreetly & quickly informed the cook & the cook must have put a whole bunch of laxatives in our dishes as a retaliation. Because I have been having non stop diarrhea today (10-20x's) ever since we came back home. My friend is also coincidentally has been having diarrhea as well, what are the odds of that happening? I didn't have diarrhea before going there & I felt fine all day today. I will never ever go back there again. I'm so angry at my friend for opening his damn mouth & at the cook right now. I'm still sitting on the toilet as I am writing this negative review.

Terrible service. I waited for 30 mins for them to make the food, but came back and they said they didn't even start. Has happened multiple times and each time I went there I have had to wait 30 mins minimum.

Some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long, long time. The owner Grace and the manager (her sister) Kimi are wonderful people and very friendly. Honey walnut shrimp was amazing! You will not be disappointed!

Not fancy but the food is great. Get there early or you'll be waiting outside. Small place with only one big round table.

Simple but delicate taste. Not greasy good. Eggplant and string beans are great. Clean dining area and friendly servers.

Great Chinese dining experience! This gem offers a family friendly atmosphere with an extensive menu. Despite its smaller size, the restaurant graciously takes reservations and easily accommodates larger groups with a family style dining experience. Personally, I enjoy the Salt & Pepper Squid or Shrimp, Clams with Basil, Beef Udon Noodle, and Mongolian Beef. The servers are always sweet and attentive every time I've visited.

Early Chinese New Year dinner with the family. They had a special on their lobster, so we ordered it and it was divine. Also had hot and sour soup, black mushrooms (but it came with broccoli which was not mentioned on the menu), seafood clay pot, and chicken with salted fish fried rice. Although the broccoli was not described, it was perfectly cooked and paired well with the black mushrooms. The hot and sour soup was a little spicier than expected but taste was good. The seafood clay pot included fish, squid, shrimp, and tofu. The tofu was silky and the texture of the entire dishes paired well with rice. Speaking of rice, this is my hubby's favorite one and they do a fantastic job here. It's a must order each time we come.
