I was not expecting this, italian food from not so italian people, but my god was the food delicious! Everything was fantastic, small intimate vibe, you can see the flames from the food they are cooking from any seat inside the restaurant. I walked out of there wanting to go back already! 5/5 all day!

A great casual option for a typically upscale cuisine. Their specials menu are true, rotating specials instead of cherry-picked menu items. The pasta is definitely made fresh day-of.

SOLID pasta. Had the parpadelle vodka on my most recent visit but had others in the past and they were all great. I wouldn't mind if the prosciutto with the parpadelle wasnt crispy. The tables are quite small and you have to be ok with dining close quarters. Service was adequate and friendly. Wish they had a couple beers on tap but didnt take away much from the dining experience

Amazing food. Small dining area, so make a reservation if you can. Definitely worth the effort! We will be back!

The pasta dishes at La Tavolata are truly something to rave about. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with perfectly cooked noodles and rich, savory sauces that tantalize the taste buds. Whether you opt for a classic favorite or try one of their specialty creations, you're sure to be impressed by the quality and taste. The service at La Tavolata is top-notch, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm welcome, and the attentive service continues throughout the meal. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations, adding to the overall enjoyment of the visit. While most of the dishes exceeded expectations, the onion soup fell a bit short for me. It was on the heavy side, with a thick consistency that didn't quite align with my preferences. However, taste is subjective, and others may appreciate the hearty nature of the soup.

My best friends brought us here for our birthdays and we really enjoyed our food. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and the chicken was cooked right. It is a small restaurant so having to wait for a table can be torture, but it is worth the wait.

I have been coming here for years now and I love the quality of the food here. My favorites are Fettuccini Compleanno or the Spaghetti alla Cammorista. I am not sure if the french onion soup is a normal menu item, but if you get the chance to order that, please do, it is phenomenal.

This place is a little hole in the wall gem. Came here on a Sunday night for dinner and it was packed! Wait was around 40 minutes. The servers were attentive and ready to take our order quickly despite how busy it was inside. We ordered two dishes and the portions are very big. The garlic bread appetizer was good alone and dipped into the pasta sauces. Pappardelle Vodka- 4/5: The sauce was very creamy and flavorful. I would definitely recommend to give this one a try! The noodles are very Al dente though. Spaghetti alla Camorrista- 3.5/5: The sauce tasted very tomato like. The shrimps had a nice little kick to the flavor. The noodles were a good Al dente and more cooked than the pappardelle. I will definitely be back to try more of the pastas!

Always always, always 5 stars from this quaint little place. Their food is always so fresh and full of flavor. My number 1 for carbonara and it never fails me. The ambiance is comforting and not overwhelming because it's a tiny place with limited seating. Get there early or make a reservation, if you end up having to wait, just know it's worth it every single time! Service is always welcoming and warm.
