Worse food you ever eat . And the worse parts it has to after taste. And they expect you to pay 20% tips. Not recommended

That was special... went here with my son for lunch and it was a great overall experience. Love the modern decor and the staff is super friendly and helpful... we had the combo aperizer with beef and two different kinds of pickles. The fried mushroom with peppercorn powder was right up my ally but my son wasn't a fan, too dry and mushroomy. The daicon pickle was the best I've ever had. My son had the dandan noodles which were a delicious flavor bomb and I had the pork dumplings that came in a spicy red sauce. So good I'm already looking forward to coming back for more...

面 (MIAN) brings the bold, tongue-tingling flavors of Sichuan right to your table — and with James Beard Award–nominated Chef Tony Xu at the helm, it’s no surprise this spot packs serious flavor and heat.
– A solid lineup with a few hits and some misses, but the freshness and noodle quality shine through.
-Steamed Veggie 菜青菜 – Pretty bland, could use seasoning.
-Crispy Cucumber 爽口黄瓜 – 4/5, crunchy with refreshing balance.
-Sichuan Five-Spice Fried Peanuts 酒鬼花生 – 4.5/5, simple yet addictive.
-Chili Oil Chaoshou 红油抄手 (Small - 小份) – 3/5, flavorful but I’ve had better versions elsewhere.
-Tomato & Beef Rice Noodles 番茄牛肉米线 – 4/5, the noodles carry the dish—springy, chewy perfection.
-Roujiamo (Freshly Baked 20 min) 肉夹馍 (现烤约20分钟) (cut into quarters 切成四份) – 3/5, decent but nothing standout.
– Friendly energy across all three staff members. Quick to greet, helpful with menu picks.
– Easy to find with plenty of plaza spots. Plus, Bopomofo Café next door makes it a double-win foodie stop.
– Clean dining space with spotless tables. The team’s attention to tidiness really stands out.

Mian Artesia is a flavor packed adventure for noodle lovers! The Chongqing spicy noodles are a fiery dream bold, numbing, and deeply satisfying. The hand pulled texture is spot-on, and the broth clings to every strand like it was meant to be. Don’t skip the pork wontons or the cold cucumber salad perfect cooling companions to the heat. Service is quick, the vibe is casual, and the spice level? Not for the faint of heart. 🔥

This was my first time visiting this Mian location (I’ve only been to their other spots in Los Angeles before), and I was really impressed by how refined the flavors are here. The vegetables were especially fresh and served warm, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced and delicious. The menu also offers options that other branches don’t have, which makes the food here feel more unique and refined. Even though it’s the same brand, the level of quality here feels much higher. I really love this place, and the environment is also very clean. Highly recommended!

Recommended dishes: Pork Dumpling 钟水饺, Fried Mushroom with Peppercorn Powder, Pork Dumplings 6 Pieces
We ordered the Tofu with Rice and meat sauce and it was everything that I wished for !
Service is efficient and fast. Ambiance is satisfactory. Most of the ordering is done through QR code scanned on your phone and food comes out pretty fast.
This has become my go to Lunch Spot ! Highly recommended !

Small restaurant that serves spicy noodle dishes.
Came on an extremely busy Friday night in September, waitlist at the restaurant itself, up to 30 minutes wait.
Place is quite noisy just from conversations, no TV or music. It’s the hard surfaces bouncing the sounds.
I only saw two wait staff, they both were so busy and it was difficult getting their attention for things like more water or napkins.
QR code for ordering straight to the kitchen.
Very quick turnaround for dishes to be served.
Spice levels customized to your liking.
I got the sliced intestines with noodles mild spice: the broth is flavorful without the usual funk from offal cuts.
Sliced cold cucumber and wood ear mushrooms are great accompaniments to the meal.
Wontons in chili oil are also tasty.

Delicious food. They unfortunately don’t have paper Menus only a scan at the table QR code. That was originally off putting since only one person at the table had a phone in our group- but the food more than made up for it. Authentic cuisine.

Restaurantji Recommends
The SGV location is one of Jonathan Gold's 101. The Cerritos branch is somehow not as good, after a handful of visits. There was only 1 server with a full restaurant, it took a while to get our order.
Today we ordered:
Chengdu Zajiang Noodles (go to SGV)
Fried Mushroom w/ Peppercorn Powder 👍🏻
Crispy Cucumber 👍🏻
Pork dumpling w/ chili oil 👍🏻
They use plenty of chili oil in their dishes, you can request the spicy level. I enjoy the Chengdu Zajiang Noodles level 7, which also contains numbing Peppercorn. Need lots of water to cool down, the SGV branch actually provided cold mung bean soup to fight the spice.

By far the best Taiwanese food I've had in the US! Everything was so delicious, and the service was great! The restaurant looked really cool and had plenty of parking, just a little loud. Highly recommend!

Incredible food and fantastic service. Came here after having spent a week in NYC eating some top tier food and this place can compete. Was nice experiencing right after landing from LAX.
