Had a great experience at MIAN and am already thinking about coming back and eating here again. The Szechuan style of food they sell here is what makes it stand out as it is not very common in other Chinese food places in the area.

I had the Chengdu noodles that come with ground pork and bok choy and a side of popcorn chicken. The noodles were great. I have no complaints. When mixed in with the sauce, they can get quite spicy, and this is coming from someone who ordered the medium level (there are three spice levels in total), but it is still an enjoyable spice that mixes well with the food. Additionally, the popcorn chicken was also really good, the pieces were nice and big and the chicken was crispy.

I had ordered some mustard sauce on the side with my chicken. When the waiter brought the chicken over, he did not bring the sauce. So I flagged him down and asked him to bring it over, but he did not understand what I was asking for. It seemed like English was not really his first language. He ended up calling his coworker on the phone and had me explain to her what it is I wanted which she then was able to translate to him. After this, he brought over the sauce lol. I just wanted to say that I thought it was funny the way he was so determined to figure out what it is I wanted but I also really appreciate his dedication. I didn’t get his name but I send him my thanks.

What I liked about the ordering process here is that you just sit down and scan a QR code. You can order pretty much immediately and the food didn’t take long to come out. It was a Wednesday afternoon though so that might be why; the restaurant was not very full.

Such a great ball of spicy beef noodle soup. It is savory, adjustable in spice, freshly made noodles, bits of crunchy celery on a wonderful bowl of soup. Stuffed.

Cute cafe- order on your phone with the QR code. It's a 2-person operation, which is pretty impressive: the guy cooking, and the waitress. We ordered spicy beef noodle soup, golden chicken noodle soup, fried lotus, popcorn chicken, and scallion pancakes. All were tasty.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and I like the order yourself menu using the QR code. We ordered the beef noodle, cucumber appetizer, thousand year egg with tofu, sour&spicy noodle, and a caraf of watermelon juice.
In general, all were good and close to expectation. To offer more insight, both appetizers were slightly on the salty and oily side. Beef noodle had inconsistent tenderness with the beef. One piece was clearly not chewable (under cooked). Loved the watermelon juice.

Noodle was excellent, came out quick in a large bowl portion and generous amount of meat, wish theres more bokchoy included. The shrimp ( my fav of the night) was so crunchy with the flavorful thick fish sauce mixed. The black fungus was alright, not my cup of tea. Service i felt like could be better since not only the menu is online ( which is fine lots of places do so) but u also order everything to your table online from the QR on the table so server and guests didn’t even really need to interact with each other until checking bills, make it feels a bit cold for a sit down restaurant. Food was 8.5/10 but service is like 5/10 for me.

The worst food I've had in a restaurant ever. I ordered mopo tofu with meat and it was extremely salty. I brought this fact quietly to the server and asked for a bowl so I can remove the sauce from my dish hoping that would make my dish edible. It did not help. Server brought me clear broth to substitute but that was very salty too. What irked me was the server telling me that that's Sichuan style. Excuse me! I've been to many many Chinese restaurants and never had a dish as salty as this one. It immediately gave me headache coz the saltiness and the taste of msg was overpowering. It's a recipe for a stroke and heart attack. If they're defending the very salty flavor, then this is not a place I would recommend to anyone. My brother's dish with spare ribs was very salty too. We were not able to continue with our lunch eventhough we were starved coz it was really bad, almost toxic. I hardly touched mine. We paid and my generous brother even added tip and left with no intent to return.

Tasty food, nice atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is pretty clean, and the decorations made the whole place feel welcoming. There's a big TV that showed how their food was made, getting customers riled up to eat good food. Smart choice.

Ordering is convenient because all you had to do was scan the QR codes on the table to browse and make any adjustments necessary. Lemon water is provided in a pitcher on the table.

We ordered popcorn chicken as an appetizer. Nice crunch, juicy meat, and good flavor. I ordered the Mapo Tofu Noodles with meat. Delicious and filling with good spice.

Overall, I had a great experience and I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for some delicious authentic Chinese food.

We had to evacuate from Hollywood due to the wildfires and came here for dinner near our hotel and it absolutely delivered and put a smile on our faces. The Dan Dan Noodles were the BEST I’ve ever had, the spicy beef soup, the pork dumplings — everything is delicious! And CeCe, the beautiful owner, was so generous and boxed up some to go food “on the house”. Will definitely try the other Mians!
