I haven't had Indian style Chinese food since forever. The food here really blew me away. Amazingly tasty and with a clean presentation. I intend to visit more often. I can recommend the Hakka noodles, the Gobi Manchurian, and the Sheesh Kabobs.

Went on a Wednesday night and the service was fast. The food was pretty good too. Would recommend the Hakka noodles, and chili garlic chicken

Was a little skeptical about a restaurant with a mix of India, Chinese and Nepalese food. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was good. The service was a bit crazy. There were 4 of us in our party and we all ordered our meals at the same time but the meals came at different times. So the first person was almost done eating before the last person got their meal. We did mention to the waiter than it would have been nice if we all got our food together and not have to wait on each other while the other's food get cold.

A lot went wrong here. A lot... Walked in with a party of 13. We were all seated at a giant table but it took forever to sit down. This restaurant was packed, which I guess was a testament to how good the food was. I wish I could have tried the food though... We ordered several meat and veggie dishes including the Chili Chase naan, Garlic Chicken, Veg Manchurian and a whole range of other things. The issue was that everything took so long (and one of our members literally had to leave in 2 hours). We only got Momos, and our chili cheese naan while we where still waiting for our Garlic Chicken, Hakka Noodles, Veg Fried Rice, and so much more. My parents, having been here before kept raving about this garlic chicken, so of course I had high hopes. Two hours later and only one thing came. The waitress told us it was garlic chicken and it came on a sizzling platter. I tasted a bite before realizing this was Gobi Manchurian. As much as we like cauliflower, WE DID NOT ORDER THIS AT ALL. We ordered 2 plates of Veg Manchurian Balls. At this point we were so full and annoyed that we asked for the check and the rest of the items were to be canceled. But they weren't. Actually we got into a hefty dispute with the manager who refused to take several charges off the bill after we told the waitress to cancel the remaining dishes. He even said that he sent 2 Veg manchurian plates out and we should have gotten them. We saw the 2 Veg Manchurians go to ANOTHER TABLE. NOT OURS. They were sent to the wrong table. I bet all of our dishes were sent to the wrong table, and they had the nerve to tell my family that he didn't believe us when we didn't get our food. This is absolutely unprofessional behavior and I wouldn't come back here again, even if the Garlic Chicken (STILL HAVENT TRIED YET) was the best damn thing in the world.

I have gone to Artesia many times and always drive past Nanking Indo-Chinese Restaurant. Today I decided to try it out. To be honest, I was underwhelmed. The service was not very good but the food definitely redeemed the restaurant. The Chicken Chhoyela was amazing, it had the perfect blend of savory and spicy. The Chowmein was also delicious. We originally ordered it with chicken but when they brought it out it did not have any chicken in it. The Chicken Tikka Masala wasn't anything extraordinary but when paired with the Garlic Naan it was really good. The Chicken Mo Mo was very disappointing. I was looking forward to it the most out of everything I ordered and it was not very good. It was bland and even when dipped in the sauce the flavor was not enhanced in any way. The Royal Lassi was also very disappointing. It allegedly came with saffron cream mixed in but it just tasted like normal Mango Lassi. Definitely do not recommend getting it. Nanking Indo-Chinese Restaurant was decent but before coming here there are a lot of other options in Artesia.

I have been obsessed about trying the dumplings from this spot. Finally got the chicken momo : 8 pieces of hand made dumplings with a slightly more curry flavored chicken filling. There were two separate sauces that came with my order : the yellow one was creamy with a hint of spice and the red one was more tangy, some sour and sweet combo. (Not sure if that was the tomato achaar listed on the menu). Both sauces were delicious. Samosa was fried to a crunchy outside with a tender potatoes and spices filling. I could have eaten two of these but paced myself to enjoy the other entrees. I asked for regular spice for these dishes: The masala with mutton was deeply flavorful, meat was tender and generously sauced. Saag paneer was smooth & had several pieces of the unsalted cheese blocks. Also got two pieces of whole wheat tandoori baked roti - that's something I thought should be complementary but paid $2.99 for each piece. Also delicious as accompaniment to the saucy food. $60+ after tip. Food was ready for pickup as promised and came in a reusable branded shopping bag. I would like to see a lunch special on the menu. Lunch buffet on Friday till Sunday.

The food, service, and hygiene is great. We often pop in to dine in or order to go. The food quality is consistently yummy. I often order veg. Manchurian, fried rice, and Chinese bagel. Oh and I love their recycled to go bags.

This place honestly never disappoints. The food is always great! I've always taken the food to go and it's always been ready by the time I get there. I would honestly recommend every single item on the menu because it's that good

Delicious! Everything was super fresh and tasty. We had the hot and sour soup, tandoor chicken. bhindi and aloo masala, shrimp and cashew curry, and zeera rice. I recommend all of these. I love hot and sour soup and this was the best I've had in Artesia since Tangra closed all those years ago. The tandoor chicken was so much more flavorful than usual (my daughter ordered it) and the matchstick ginger was a nice touch. We will definitely be back!

If you like Indian style Chinese food , this is a very good place. The food is great but they appear to be a little short staffed. We got our food in a reasonable time after we waited a long time to order.

Very good experience overall. Maintained good hygiene standards. Had hand sanitizers and water bottles for every table. Service was good and pleasant. The meal was satisfying as a whole. These are the items we got. 1. Chicken hot and sour soup. 5/5. By far the best Desi Chinese soup I've had in a while. Very nicely balanced. Flavor profile reminded me of India. 2. Sweet corn soup. 4/5. No glaring problems as such, but I felt the consistency was not on point. 3. Chilli chicken. 3.5/5. Was decent, but left a lot to be desired. 4. Veggie balls in Manchurian sauce. 3.5/5. The balls were certainly not what I'd expect in such a dish. Felt more like cornmeal balls. But the gravy was amazing! 5. Hakka noodles. 4/5. Good, but needed more soy sauce. 6. Chilli garlic fried rice. 4/5. Felt more like Schezwan rice. Very spicy, but tasty.

The Best Indo Chinese you'll ever have in CA! I've been going to this place for over 3 years now and I can happily say that all the dishes here are worth trying. My personal favorites are the Veg Manchurian Balls and the Garlic Fried Rice! Definitely recommend Nanking

I ordered through Uber eats and found a long black hair in my veggie curry. I used to love this place, but the hair really grossed me out. I probably won't come back here.

If you like Indo Chinese food, it's a good pick. While other Indian restaurants serving Chinese have good numbers of chinese dishes, but limited on other varieties of chinese items, this has a long list of Chinese noodles and others. Price is quite reasonable but service is slow. Really one person managing all the orders these days. Go there very often for dinner. Has a good amount of crowd in the evening weekends.

Went here a couple weeks ago on a Saturday evening. Walked in around 7ish and we were able to get seated right away - party of 3 (it did get pretty busy by the time we left). Service was great - food came in a timely manner & the staff was friendly / helpful! The food is absolutely delicious. We got the following (they were able to make it all without onion and garlic to accommodate our restrictions) - chili paneer dry, fried rice, and Hakka noodles (asked to make it spicy), and paneer tikka masala with chili naan. Everything was really flavorful and tasty. The chili paneer comes out on a sizzler and was hands down the best. The rice and noodles were also yummy and well made. The paneer tikka masala wasn't as spicy, but it was nice to balance out the spice in the other items. The paneer pieces were nice and soft, and well cooked. Naan wasn't too crispy or too soft - it was perfectly balanced. Highly recommend if you're looking for some well-priced, well-portioned, satisfying Indian / Indo Chinese food :)
