I live in Dallas, TX. Generally I love non-veg pickles, especially mutton/goat. My aunt visiting from LA bought mutton and chicken pickles from here and after tasting ‘em I have to say its the best taste with correct amount of spices and spiciness. Especially mutton pickle was my favourite. Its second day and the pickle jar is already half done. I highly recommend these pickles for others to try out. Will bring some stuff from here when I visit.

My experience here worsens with every visit. The tiffins are the only consistently good items, though sometimes they are subpar. Any rice dish, including biryani and fried rice, is an utter disappointment in taste. Prices are exorbitant. Additionally, the lady is always adamant about meeting customers’ requirements. This has happened twice in three visits. It feels like we are eating what she wants us to eat, not what we want. After today’s visit, we’ve decided it will be our last.

Masala dosa we ordered is amazing. Hakka noodles are tasty though it missed hint of salt. Others were not bad

I ordered the spicy street dosa, and was warned it would be very spicy. I told the waiter that was great and to please suggest the spiciest podi option to match.
I received a nicely prepared and good looking dosa which has a crispy dosa and tasted.... like plain unflavored aloo.
Confused I asked the waiter if they had forgotten the podi but I could see it was liberally smeared. I asked all my table mates and they confirmed zero level spice.
I paid extra (they did not offer to fix the mistake) and ordered the spiciest podi with sesame oil to try to fix it and it tasted like nothing.
Very disappointing, unsure how you can directly order the spiciest podi and not get any spice, twice. Worst experience I have had in Artesia after years of visiting nearly every location.
I did try other Dosa options and the non spicy. Versions like Mysore were quite good. Perhaps spicy dishes are just a weakness here

I don’t know why some of the previous reviewers have had such bad experiences but we had a great one.

The restaurant offers a variety of different dishes. Meat dishes, vegetarian, vegan... I like the variety but my favorites are still the Dosa`s. Its a favorite so sometimes there is a wait. The service is not the greatest, but the food is good.
Vegetarian options: Vegetable curries and dosas

Good food but horrible service., people who work there are a little better than the owner herself., My order last two times (few months back) was ordered an hour before, then went in to pick it up and was told it will take another 10 minutes, waited 10 minutes and was told another 10 minutes (by owner) and this repeated for 4 times while i was doing nothing but waiting to pick it up. And finally when i said cancel my order then she (owner) said ok but went inside and did not come out for 10-15 minutes and brought my order (which was just 2 biryanis' nothing special) and this repeated second time as well. Now I stopped going to this place as I cannot take this arrogance and irresponsible careless attitude. Done with Podi Dosa...

The worst food ever!!!
Food taste has been changed it doesn’t taste the same. If you will order noodles it would be too spicy or just noo taste at all. Will never go back again.
Size and variety of dosas is excellent. Fried ghee podi idly was okay. The dipped idli with sambar was spicy for my taste. Mango Lassi is full of color. I prefer regular sweet Lassi made fresh.

Worst service that they served the half cooked Vada and when we asked to fry a lil bit or other
Server tried to help us by taking them back to kitchen
But they guy who is in kitchen he is refused to do that at the same time he was telling the server in a rude way that it was cooked and we can’t do anything for that it’s gonna take 30min for just Vada
I hope the owner should focus on service not only just providing the food in a restaurant
Service and quality of food make sense a lot

We tried Podi green moong dosa, Bangalore ghee masala dosa. The dosa was burnt, not tasty at all and the Sambhar was like masala itself. It was too thick and zero flavor. We didn’t know they served 2 dosas for each order. Had to throw them all. Later ordered Hakka noodles to change the taste even that was bad. Filter coffee was ok. Personally we didn’t like it!!
