Not even close to poke etc in Carson. 1/2 the portions and 1/2 the service. It's worth the drive to go-to Carson poke

Not exactly sure how this place got 4.5 stars. So first off order was taken by an older woman. Not very helpful and rude. Asked her for the flavors since the windowed items was empty and just had ice. She was a bit annoyed when I asked her about the shoyu flavor because I could not see it on the menu. Let's rate the fish. Tuna quality is just your average tuna nothing tasty. Salmon was better but they gave me a bunch of end pieces with cartilage. Portion is pretty small maybe about 2oz of each fish. Rice portion is generous all rice on one side. For payment they only take ZELLE or Cash. No other payment. And to top it off they gave me a SPORK!!!!! I will definitely not be coming back here. JUST DISSATISFIED in so many ways.

Ok, the poke itself is pretty good. But here's the issue, they use jasmine rice with poke. You have to use sushi rice. I love the prices but hated the Jasmine rice. Jasmin rice is dryer and harder. Sushi rice is softer and more moist. The texture is noticeable. Very noticeable Portion size is decent for the price paid. Inflation after all

This is the best poke spot I've been to. I've been craving Hawaii poke and luckily I found a place that finally hits the spot. The price is really good too (they beat all my usual spots)

Came here yesterday to try this poke spot and it was so good!! My boyfriend and I ordered the 2 Flavor bowls. I got the Cali Hawaiian and Sweet & Spicy salmon poke; he got the Sweet & Spicy and Garlic Spice ahi tuna poke. We both loved it. At first glance it looks like there's too much rice to poke ratio, but it's actually perfect... or we could've used a few more bites of rice. The poke flavors are so yummy and has a ton of flavor and sauce. Our favorite was definitely the sweet & spicy flavor and we can't wait to come back to try some of the other flavors off the menu. Be warned, the garlic spice does have quite a kick to it so if you order two flavors of poke, I'd suggest getting a more mild flavor/one without spiciness to it.

This place was great. It was a little under $11 for a two choice plate. The poke tasted way more authentic than the other poke spots I've been to and so it has easily become my new favorite spot. My usual spot charges like $16 but it comes with a lot of extra stuff. Personally I enjoy this place a lot more as the poke reminded me of what I ate in Hawaii.

Went here over the weekend after a bit of searching for a good poke place and it did not disappoint! My review is centred around the poke that's sold by the half or full pound and nothing else off the menu, so keep that in mind. What I ordered: Tuna - Basic spice: My absolute favourite poke mix; an amazing amount of spiceness and garlic mixed in, complimenting the tuna. Get it!! - Garlic spice: Got a creaminess going with this mix that it's hard to not recommend it. - Cali Hawaiian: Loved the mix of crab, furikake, and tuna; definitely my third favourite flavour. - Shoyu: That soy sauce tuna always hits right and the umami flavour only works to enhance the overall dish. My partner loved this, so definitely recommend it, but it was a little salty for me - absolutely nothing against the dish; I just haven't adapted to high sodium levels is all as I grew up predominantly salt-free most of my life. Salmon - Sweet & spicy: Not too bad; I wish I had gotten basic spice flavoured salmon as that would have been more to my liking. Personally not a huge fan of sweet pokes, but I tried it and wasn't bad! Nice crunch thanks to the onions. Pricing wise, it's $18.95 for tuna and $16.95 for salmon - at least when I went (October 2022). I love both fish types, but definitely prefer tuna to salmon when it comes to poke. The establishment is cash or Zelle only, so please remember that - there's a sign by the front display that states this, and a Zelle QR code to scan once you've opened Zelle through your bank app. I paid Zelle because I rarely have cash, let alone ~$60 to cover my total order. It's in a shopping strip, so tonnes of parking. Easy to get to; not much seating inside besides one table - more of a grab-and-style place. I took all my order to go and ate it with rice (or by itself).

A cute and nice poke joint, but when I walked in I could tell that the owner wasn't very friendly or welcoming. I first asked for the lau lau and a side of poke...he replied and said we're out of it. Yikes! Okkkkay, well then I'll have the aloha combo instead. I wasn't aware of the option of cash or zelle. When I got to the register, I zelled him and thanked him. When I got home, the portions were small. I'll give this place 3 stars, it could use some improvement in regards to their employees. One thing I can say is hire people that are cheerful and welcoming. That will attract your business and have customers wanting to come back. And if you're the owner and not welcoming, this isn't a good look for your business. Overall food was mediocre and service was not up to par.

Plates and bowls are decent priced however, small portions, both the fish and rice ratio. We ordered a plate ($10.99) with both salmon and the flavours were not quite as strong compared to other poke joints. The Cali Hawaiian was better tasting compared to Limu. I was very impressed with their selection of drinks having been to Hawaii myself!

Food is great, price is decent for the amount. The guy at the front is hella rude...not very welcoming. If he owns the place, how are you going to expect to get returning customers with that attitude? Hope he gets through whatever he's going through.

Very good quality salmon poke the day I was there! I didn't try anything else but will definitely be back!

Poke is delicious. Of course fish isn't as fresh as the ones from Hawaii, but the flavors are close! Tried their Cali Mix and their Sweet Spicy Salmon Poke and they were delicious. Their rice was meh so next time I'll probably just get poke by the pound and cook rice my own rice lol Serving is quite small but their price is pretty low for the great quality of their poke and they offer way more flavors than your average chain poke spots. Would definitely go back

Been going here for 2 years. Never a bad experience and always delicious poke

Portion is so small that I can agree with a review that said it can only feed a baby. 2 Salmon poke seems like it's decent amount but not really when you start digging in for Salmon. Lady asked if I wanted seaweed salad as well and look how much they gave me. They were out of half of the menu and these are what I get. Rice is hard and feels like it's from the bottom of the pot where it all got dried out. Kalua is so salty that feels like I'm eating a table spoonful of salt. This place is $$$compared to the amount of food you get. These +2 drinks cost me $25.48 and they only take cash or Zelle. Total rip off. Be warned

Paid a visit to Poke Etc today since my bf and I were craving poke. Ever since Hawaii, he and I been on a hunt for a good poke spot in Cali. I ordered a plate with two sides: Spicy Mayo Salmon and Shoyu Tuna BF ordered : Limu tuna and Shoyu salmon. Today must of been an off day or we came too late.. the rice was very over done and dry. The two Shoyu sides and the Limu was super salty! The quality is there but the flavor was off. What saved the day was definitely the spicy Mayo salmon, that was pretty good. Overall considering all the great reviews we must of came on a bad day. But today was not it for my bf and I. I'll update my review if I ever stop by again to give Poke Etc another try. Thank you for the meal!
