Best Dim Sum
We were told there would be a 30 min wait, but we waited an hour and they gave our table away to another party. Took our business to another place that doesn't waste our time.
Avoid this place if you value your time.
4/20/2025 = 5 star = 2nd time here and bring entire family , still good experience, we never have issue, will try again soon .
3/23/2025 = 5 Star = First time in here, we've been craving for Dim Sum and this is the only place serve all day Dim Sum , I been to a different Dim Sum place and this place I can give 5 star for now, coz the serving is pretty fair or better than other place I go. I will try to visit again soon and we will see if they are consistent on the service and food .
Went to Sam Woo to celebrate my cousin's birthday with family. The food was good and servings were plenty. Good thing we went there around 5pm as the place started to pack up by 6;30pm onwards. There were just a few staff and were busy getting orders so we just asked for to-go boxes and bags and we just helped ourselves with the left overs. All in all, the food is worth the price and they are so delicious that we're planning to go back there to celebrate my niece's graduation.
Second time here. Great place to get some old school Cantonese Chinese food...and dim sum all day. Woohoo. My favorite is still the soy sauce chow mein; reminds me of small kid time.
Awesome food. They serve dimsum all day. The sui Mai is larger than usual. My wife and I are for a party of 4. It's that good
I didn’t get to try the food because after putting our names on the tablet, we were skipped several times by people who were just walking in to the restaurant. Another lady who was also being skipped spoke up for herself and for our group and the host told her to worry about herself.
Hostess and servers were all very rude and did not seem to care how long we were sitting before making any type of contact with the table.
Fisrt time here. Egg tar is the old-fashioned style, definitely 😋 !!
I love this place because they serve Dim Sum all day. And they heat the foods up before they bring to you. The shrimp shiu mai, har gow, chicken feet, crispy shrimp dumpling… very fresh and delicious. Will come back for sure.

Great place for dim sum! The people are super nice and helpful. Our aunt who requires a wheel chair, was slowly sliding our of her wheel chair. We couldn't lift her back into the chair ourselves and when we asked for assistance, four of their staff jumped to aid us!!! Amazing food too!!!
Food was great, but they completely forgot about us for two hours, had to talk to staff several times just to get someone to take our order, bring us food, bring us check, etc. Wound up getting to go because we ran out of time to eat.
Visiting from out of town & was craving dim sum. Normally I eat dim sum for brunch so when I heard this was available for dinner I got excited. Brought my friends who hadn’t been here before & met up with some other people so we had group of 6. Good size b/c it allowed us to share multiple dishes & people who didn’t eat pork had options too. We had shrimp har gow, chow fun noodles, Shu mai, Chinese broccoli, spare ribs, fried rice, & fried noodles all topped off with cups of jasmine tea. The food & smells were on point! They don’t roll around with the carts, but u mark on the menu which items u want. The main con I had was that they brought the bill by rather quickly and we had barely dug in on the main courses. We had the bill altered because we ended up ordering more food. That felt a bit rushed.
Great no fuss dim sum. Our family didn’t feel like driving all the way to SGV from Torrance for dim sum so we gave this place a try and it didn’t disappoint. They had all the dim sum staples plus a few unique items not all dim sum places would carry like the fried donut wrapped in rice paper. Their flavors hit the spot and portions were huge we had to take home quite a few items home. We came on a Sunday around 10am was seated immediately by the time we left at 11:30 a line started forming. Fast efficient service. Will definitely return!
Not bad. Most dishes were delicious. Overall a bit salty. There was a long wait. We waited for over 50 minutes on a weekday lunch.
