Omg! They have seasonal menus,Kong-guk-su (cold bean noodle)!The taste was very similar to my Korean grandmother’s. The kongguksu is not sweet and the taste is very clean. Love it!!

Came here around 3pm for a late lunch.. Quiet and calm atmosphere. The traditional soon-dae soup had a miso base broth. I personally prefer the bone broth, but it was still satisfying! Older waitresses were very friendly.

The sausage which I remember from some 18 years ago were fantastic and never could forget. However upon my return I realized the owners had changed and menu did as well. Their Soondae did not taste the same which was a huge disappointment.

I was in the mood for Korean food so decided to go to Seoul Soondae. I had gotten takeout once before, but decided to try dining in for the first time.The menu isn't too too big, though there are some additional items posted on the walls. As the name of the restaurant suggests, they specialize in soondae (Korean blood sausage).We ordered the Soon Dae Jung Shik and Sullung Tang. The combination came with soondae and sliced meats, plus soup. Banchan were okay, radish and cabbage kimchi plus pickled chilies and garlic and dried tiny fish with pine and peanuts. Rice and soups were delicious. Soondae was tasty, though the sliced liver was a bit dry for me (I'm not the biggest fan of liver to begin with).Service was decent; though they don't have the best English we were able to communicate enough. The best part was the refreshing chilled sikhye (rice punch) at the end of the meal.Prices were fair, $53 before tips for this meal. Highly recommend!

I used to really like this place. My go-to spot for some take out jokbal (pigs feet) and soondae (blood sausage). Never had a problem until recently when I made an order for a large jokbal and large soondae. I drove 20 minutes to go and pick up the order. Paid for it with a credit card, picked the food up, and drove 20 minutes back home ready to serve the food to my entire family.Opened the to-go containers eagerly to eat and share the tasty food from Seoul Soondae. One bite of the jokbal and it tasted very wrong. Very sour and very wrong. And if you look at the photo, you can see the discolored undead like unappealing jokbal. You see lots of pink, not lots of brown. I called to see what went wrong, and they kept insisting they had no idea. Okay, sure I guess that can happen. I asked for a refund since I paid it with my credit card. They did not know how to process a refund, which meant I would have to go back and receive my refund in cash.It's sad and unfortunate that this place has become what it is now. If you dine here, I hope you don't experience what I did. Personally, I will be staying away from this place going forward.
I've tried many soondae places in Oc, and this place is I would say top 2. Soondae tastes so good and we ordered sooyok ( don't know how to spell) and was good too. Will come back

A bit far out but worth it. There was another soondae joint that was closer, but this place just seemed better, and it was. My sister and I were both craving this. Their soondae is really good. Their staff is friendly, too. Oh, I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Good food with great service and there is no MSG so better with food quality they make the side dish as by hands i recommend the this place better then any other place they make food make sleepy and bad taste but this place is the best place i would keep on comming to have more food from here.

Highly recommend this place, the service is A1 if you dine in. A lot of to go people stop by. If you want to try most authentic Korean dishes come here! Side dishes are A1 they make it here from scratch!
