Solid Coffee Roasters - Artesia

Visited Solid Coffee Roasters for the second time and was reminded how good it is. They offer a great variety of drinks, including signature options, teas, and seasonal specials. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, lightly sweetened, and it was smooth, well balanced, and made perfectly.

The service was excellent. Lela offered helpful recommendations, and Adan made the drink just right. The space is nice, quiet, and calm with plenty of seating, and there is plenty of parking, which makes it easy to stop by. A little noise is fine, but it never feels chaotic. Definitely worth the visit, and I know this will be one of my go-to spots to study this semester.🍵😌

First time here and enjoyed 2 different coffees (honey lavender latte + the crème brûlée latte.) Both were fantastic and you can taste the freshness of the beans.

I also got a chocolate croissant that was delicious. My friend got a half order of the lox bagel and loved it.

Plus: the staff is super sweet.

Will definitely be back!

I got the caramel brûlée latte. It was “ok” I got the medium which was so tiny and was 7.50! Didn’t look anything like the picture in the menu. Cashier/barista was nice though

Solid is amazing! The staff are really kind! I love that they get to express themselves freely, and it shows just how diverse the staff is! Plenty of seating, and hookups for power! Love it here!

This place is awesome! I stayed in the area for a few days and made this my go-to coffee shop while visiting. The folks who work here are really nice and gave great drink recommendations. I was happy with the coffee drinks that I tried, and I thought the food was delicious as well. I’m glad I got to support this wonderful local business while I was here!

Busy spot with plenty of seats, both casual style with low coffee table up to counter seats with high table suited those in-need of working space.

Opting for something hot this time, I got their Sea Salt Sycamore, which supposedly served my latte with maple syrup and sea salt. I mentioned supposedly as I could barely savor any of them and it felt like common latte. Thankfully the coffee itself was great, so prolly worth another next time for other menu.

I ordered online to save time, but ended up waiting for them to make my coffee when I got there. The online wait time was 15-20 minutes, and then I have to wait another 5-10 minutes for them to fulfill my order. I didn't know that coffee here takes 20-30 mins to make. I had to cancel my order.

STUDY PPL BEWARE!! Apparently the “WiFi doesn’t work on apple products” lol. I usually go to coffee shops to study so whether it’s study friendly is important and this one is not! If your just doing a grab and go drink you’re good and staff is nice so if your here for that, great. I got the strawberry matcha drink which isn’t too sweet, I recommend.

20 min for a cup of coffee is crazy. It’s wasn’t during a rush, or large amounts of orders going on. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Best coffee shop in the area. This is my go to place for a pour over every time I travel to So Cal.

This place is amazing and delicious.
The owner has a warehouse in Downey where he roasts the coffee beans and makes his own signature blends. As well as The syrups and sauces they make fresh in house. Very gourmet. The inside of the coffee house is very charming and well decorated. Lots of room for large parties. Although I didn't eat anything. I was super impressed with the baked goods and other food. I will definitely go back and this time I will make room for a chocolate croissant. My husband had the purple dream drink. I had the creme brulee latte. Both were so delicious 😋. This place is packed because it's so popular. Give yourself a few extra minutes to find parking. 🫶
