For the price point, I was expecting higher quality and more authentic flavors. Unfortunately, the taro balls and ice cream tasted very artificial
overly sweet and lacking that natural texture and flavor you’d expect from handmade or freshly prepared ingredients. The taro balls especially were a letdown — instead of a soft, chewy bite, they felt rubbery and overly processed.

So me and my kids went today July7,2024 at 8 pm, we sat down to wait for my other 2 set of families of mine , the table is dirty and wet , my daughter asked for a tissue to the counter to wipe the table then it was not enough so I went myself to ask for more napkin and the worker in the counter said I can wipe it after you guys order. I said ohhh we are just waiting for our group then he answered back yes I will wipe it later after you all guys ordered with no smile, not friendly staff ?? Isn’t the table should be wipe every after costumer. We went out , we went to the Tastea
First timer to SweetHoney Dessert store and the menu selection via kiosk was easy with pictures and descriptions. As homegrown SoCal customers, glutinous black jelly or white glutinous balls did not sound appetizing. We ventured and tried the Mango with white glutinous balls and vanilla ice cream. See picture. There are other concoctions and toppings for customization. It was a dessert sweet mango soupy sauce on ice cream with white balls. I'm sorry, the white glutinous balls should be replaced with white sticky rice on the bottom, more mango chunks and less soup. For a $10 dessert, this item could be better. The store was clean and decent looking, the counter person did his job competently to finalize the sale as is no greeting, no smile, no thank you was required. Definitely, sitting behind the counter texting on his mobile was acceptable to management but annoying to me. I do not plan to return and will venture elsewhere for dessert.
Parking: Parking lot fills up as location competes in a restaurant filled multi-building center.

Order 2 sesame soup make from powder and mango sago too sour both was nasty waste my money on this store if owner can't run store properly let me know I can show you how
As you walk in there will be 2 touchscreen that you can use to place your order. If you have questions, you can order through the staff behind the counter. We tried the mixed fruits and cream eggette,durian pancake,mango pomelo sago & matcha ice cream, strawberry crystal boba s & vanilla ice cream. The durian pancake was disappointing, there was no durian flavor at all and it tasted a little sour for some reason. Parking is super easy even during weekends.

Besides the usual boba drinks, popcorn chickens, they have the bubble waffles that are topped with real fruit! They are really good and they do run out quickly. I recommend giving it a try! Especially on a nice warm day.

Their drinks and desserts are great but it feels like every time I come here within the first hour of their scheduled opening time, it’s a gamble as to whether they’ll actually be open or not. It’s disappointing to see a promised opening time and walk up to a locked door.
