The Punjabi Restaurant is also known as "Curry Lounge" located on Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, Cerritos - Little Indian village.Very polite staff, good service, clean and complete Indian vibes with Indian costumers and Hindi 90s songs. Normal water available for free. The food was cooked properly but the taste was just average. $13.99 for a chicken biryani. The portion is big you can easily pack it for your second meal.

Arm The Punjab Restaurant offers an unparalleled culinary experience, and their signature touch lies in their incredibly pungent onions. Every dish bursts with flavor thanks to these onions, adding a depth and richness that is truly remarkable. Whether it's the fragrant biryanis or the savory curries, the intense aroma of the onions elevates every bite to perfection Pit. Their dishes boast an unmistakable aroma that is sure to delight anyone with a fondness for the smell of stenchy onions. From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in the tantalizing scent, signaling a culinary adventure like no other. If you're seeking an experience where the aroma of onions reigns supreme, look no further than The Punjab Restaurant. It's a five-star destination for onion enthusiasts everywhere!

A friend from Bakersfield recently took over the restaurant as a co-owner and is changing the name to the Curry Lounge. I drove down from Bakersfield for my first visit along with wife and two young adult sons, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I may be no connoisseur of Indian food, but I can honestly say that it was the best Indian meal I have ever eaten, and I’ve eaten at several Indian restaurants over the years. Everything we had was addictingly tasty! We also celebrated my younger son’s 20th birthday with a cake that we bought at a nearby bakery. After singing happy birthday, some guys at another table joined in celebration by chanting “Drink a beer, drink a beer … one more year!”

First time here but it won't be our last. Food was excellent and service very friendly. Great flavors in each dish. We love Indian food and this might be the best we've had. As for some peoples earlier posts about paper plates and no restroom. We were served on nice white plates, not paper, and my husband and I both used their restroom. Granted, it was through their kitchen but the bathroom seemed newly remodeled and was very nice and clean. We will be back.

Amazing Indian food in Artesia. Just opened this month (February) and had great reviews so we decided to go for dinner. Combos came with naan and rice and daahl and portion size was good for the price (little cheaper compared to other places in Artesia). The server was very pleasant and kind. We love to support local and will definitely be back!

We had a great visit to this restaurant today. Food was awesome and the owner was really humble. We liked each of the veg and non veg items we ordered. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was excellent. The attention to detail in both presentation and flavors made our dining experience truly enjoyable. We'll definitely be returning for more delicious meals in the future.

Food was excellent and flavorful. Will definitely be returning! Service was great and took their time to make the food perfect. We had the goat biryani, reshmi chicken, daal makhani, tandoori chicken, amritsari kulcha and chicken tikka. Highly recommend them all!

Food is good but Paaji can create problems. Paaji uncle always make mistakes with orders. This happened twice. Once he absolutely forgot to give me lassi which i ordered and paid money for. It was a to-go order. The next time, i said no butter on my naan and it was a to-go order. Again Paaji fumbled and put lots of butter on my naan. After reaching home, i had to throw away the naan. Please be accurate with your service. Dont take it lightly

We literally paid $50 for three Tikka Masada plates and the quantity was not even enough for one person. We walked out hungry and extremely disappointed. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE IF YOURE EXPECTING TO GET FULL.

What in the. No this place does not have good Indian food especially compared to where it is. No chicken in the tikka masala. Biriyani is not good. They seem to just stir fry something up to resemble it. Saag is terrible and overly liquidized. Paneer is rubbery mozzarella it tastes like. For artesia... this is a shame

We had ordered chicken tikka roll for takeaway. It was stale chicken wrapped in a tandoori roti. The chicken was extremely hard and smelling. The roti was like a rubber and difficult to chew. We had to throw away the food because it was impossible to eat it.Very disappointed!
