After a traumatizing experience in a nearby Dosa restaurant, we were very skeptical to try Bhimas Veg (for which we had a lot of recommendations from our friends) Tried yesterday, it was a breath of fresh air! AUTHENTIC REAL SAMBHAR!! We ordered Gobi Manchurian as a starter and tried Idli Sambhar, ghee masala dosa, gajar (carrot) halwa, madras tea and filter coffee. Each dish was 10/10. Our server Mr. Devi Karki was so professional, attentive and friendly. Each staff seemed to love their work and were attending to all their customers. Hands down the best Sambhar in the town!! Would definitely come back very often!!! And by the way Tirupathi Bhimas and Bhimas Indian Veg is the same restaurant!!

The ambiance is okay. it looks like a traditional no-frills Indian restaurant. The food was mediocre. Having been to the Northern CA Tirupathi Bhimas, I expected nothing less if not more. To the restaurant: I highly recommend having a few objective tasters to do a thorough tasting of all your dishes. You really need to step up in dish quality; compare with other south indian restuarants. Also your insistence on tips is weird. I have not seen this elsewhere.
Also ensure that you maintain hygiene especially the person who cleans the table and takes away soiled dishes. I suspect there might be cross contamination happening looking at how he was handling the soiled items but not cleaning his hand after.

The food, service and ambiance was okay for a Indian restaurant but the host was bit rough and insisted on tips and again on cash tips which was a bit of turn off; he hurried with our orders too. I would recommend training your staff to be patient with the customers. Has on-site parking and clean restrooms.

Always love their veggie Thai, executive lunch. But idli dipped in sambar is top notch. Usually return to Bhimas to try other items in their menu. Hot badam milk, is good. This time tried podi dosa as well. I felt it was too crispy, little thickness would have been good. Chai was good, poli was awesome.

Food was out of this world, amazing!!! Service was the quickest and best I have ever seen. Only one person handled the whole sitting area, was amazed to see the efficiency and effort, tipped him good. Atmosphere was very welcoming and again the food was really really good, must try.

The service was pretty good the people were nice but the food was ok to below average. The idly was undercooked and part of it was rock solid and inedible, yet we were still charged for it. Also, the rose lassi was just ill-flavored rose syrup in lassi. Won’t be returning.
