Always my favorite malatang place… great selection! Lots of table even though it gets busy sometimes. Food is just awesome, i love their dry pot so much.

My favorite place to go whenever I'm craving hot pot nowadays! I'm not able to handle spice so I've only tried their Tomato broth, Chicken broth, and the extra mild version of the Beef Bone broth. But all 3 broths are delicious; the Tomato is sweet & tart without being too much of either, and both the Chicken and the Beef Bone are deeply flavorful without being either too watery & bland, nor too fatty & heavy. The selection of ingredients is nice as well, a good variety of tasty fish/meat balls, veggies, tofu's, and a surprisingly numerous offering of different proteins, including seafood, as well as various starches. Service has been pretty good thus far, every time I've been there, there were wait staff regularly coming by to check for water refills and napkins etc. I had to take a star off for Atmosphere though; there basically isn't any. But as long as the food stays as good as it is now, i could care less about the atmosphere to be honest.=P

Was my first time here and will be back soon! You choose your own ingredients (including the type of noodles) and pay by the pound. My favorite was a fish ball with a filling! Then you choose your preferred soup base and spice level. After they weigh it, they start preparing your order, while you wait you can begin making your own dipping sauce. I had very little interaction with the waiters but my water was always full and felt that the service was timely. Overall recommend to anyone.

My first time at YGF Malatang and it was wonderful! There was a large selection of fresh vegetables, fish, noodles, and meats. I chose the Tom Yum broth and it was perfectly spiced and so tasty! It was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed every bite.

I came from Paramount after seeing my doctor for lunch. The food is delicious and there’s plenty of space.

I am not an expert of Taiwanese sausage nor cooking in general but the sausage seemed raw to me so I inquired about this to the server. He said it’s fine so I asked him again are you sure, and he took it and brought me a replacement. The picture above is the replacement, which was better cooked than the first one.
After the meal I again took this second sausage to the front and he said it is fine. They cooked it for 10 minutes. I don’t think I waited 10 minutes for these sausages. He took the sausage off the bill but I was still unhappy with the handling of the situation. If you are young and unaware you would end up eating raw sausages here thinking it’s cooked fine. That’s what the server thought. Hopefully I don’t get sick off the little bit of raw sausage I had in my mouth in the beginning 🙂
I liked their soup though.

Meat doesn’t looks so fresh, especially the garlic beef. Perhaps it’s not raw? Service is a little bit too much in my opinion but it’s ok. Around $20-30 per person spend.

I love YGF so I’m glad that they open one in Artesia! You choose your own malatang ingredients and they cook it for you. A lot of toppings to choose from.
They have beef broth, tomato, Tom yum, dry mix, etc. I would recommend the beef or tomato one. I also tried their squid skewers which is very flavorful with spice!

First time trying YGF Malatang and wasn’t disappointed. You choose your food with veggies then they weigh it and cook it for you. Different broths to choose from and levels of spice you want. Be careful with the spiciness cuz I got mild and it’s probably medium for other places. Overall good experience. Food is good, broth is delicious. No issue coming back here.
