I have been going this restaurant for many yrs, however for the last 3 -4 visits in recent weeks , people work in the kitchen & waitress are all replaced with new inexperienced people. Their meats are not in good quality with horrible cut & service is not as good as before. $110 for two person for shabu shabu dinner is definitely not worth for this restaurant. Suggest find other alternatives in south st.

I've been a customer since this place was Yojie Shabu Shabu. That's several years. Their tonkatsu broth is delicious, however, there are days when the broth is sour. Request a new one if you get the sour batch. They also stopped including mushrooms in the veggie bowls. Customer service has gone downhill. Entering as a party of 1, there's no acknowledgment. Twice in a row so far. Seats available and completely ignored. This was the last straw. Will not be back!

Everything was great. Just needs a little cleanup in the kitchen area. Otherwise would give it 5 on service. Staff was really great and friendly.

Service was good and servers were nice. But this review was for the food. I got the "ninja" size and the portions were ok. I got the prime rib and the meat was ehhh. My boyfriend got the waygu and that was better. The veggies for the soup were your basic cabbage, carrot, onion, broccoli.I got the spicy miso broth and it was a mild spicy, my boyfriend got the filipino, tamarind inspired broth and was too sour for me.

Get the pork. I wear by it at this restaurant.Get extra veggies, too. It'll cost you extra but more veggies will only enhance the broth and add to your joy.

Missed shabu shabu so I headed here to celebrate my birthday. I haven't been since the change of ownership but it still looked like the one I'd go to in brea. Decided to go big or go home and went with the WAGYU, what a disappointment. The meat was unbearably chewy. Everything else seemed to be good though. The veggies were good quality and the sukiyaki was tasty. The PRIME RIB was where it was at for sure. If I go back id get prime rib for sure. The servers were fantastic! So nice and helpful.

My second time eating here. I always feel great after eating shabu shabu. It's so healthy and satisfying. I love vegetables so I order the Vegetable Medley and clear noodles. They also serve brown rice as an alternative option which I like as well. Really nice experience. It doesn't get very crowded at dinner time and there was no wait time around 6-6:30pm. Relaxing atmosphere too.

First time here. Group of 3 arrived right when they opened for dinner at 5, open seating. Very nice server, explained the menu to us and how to order. We had lots of questions and she answered them all graciously and went back to confirm with a co-worker for something she wasn't 100% about. I got the ninja size (smallest size of 3), dip choice cut (which was perfect since I like to eat a lot of veggies) in spicy miso soup with udon noodles. Food came out quick. Waitress offered a spicy oil, I had 1 drop in my dipping sauces which was plenty spicy. All in all, great shabu shabu with good vibes. I think next time I'll try the tonkatsu.

Extremely overpriced and the menu is confusing; I ended up walking out. The service was less than welcoming. There are other "all you can eat" shabu shabu houses near by that are better quality and better atmosphere.

Dip Shabu Shabu in Artesia, CA is hands down the best shabu shabu restaurant I have ever been to. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated at a cozy table. The standout dish of the evening was, of course, the shabu shabu. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the quality of the meats and vegetables was top-notch. We loved being able to customize our own dipping sauces and try out different combinations. But what really sets Dip Shabu Shabu apart is the attention to detail. From the beautifully presented platters of ingredients to the impeccably clean restaurant, it's clear that the owners take pride in every aspect of the dining experience. The service was also excellent. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and she made sure that our every need was met.Overall, I cannot recommend Dip Shabu Shabu enough. It's the perfect spot for a special occasion or a unique and delicious dinner out. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu.

Came here on a cold day looking for some soup to hit the spot. Immediately walking in you could tell it was filipino owned with business. Once I saw Sinigang as one of the broth options I was sold. The service is good but there were some times that we needed someone and everyone was in the back. Food: Sinigang broth was good. The portions are a tad small from what I'm use to getting for the price.

First time here, I was impressed, and worth the 1 hour and 30 min drive.Ordered Wagyu Beef with the Sukiyaki Broth, and I must say the broth is the "BEST" I've tasted. Service was fast and the servers were very nice and attentive for a busy Friday night.Personally I love quality food and was worth every penny I paid! Thanks "Dip" for making my dining experience enjoyable!

Best shabu shabu in Cerritos/Artesia! The broth is very rich and flavorful, and not diluted. They also have a singing broth that is in point! Cuts of meat are good. The service is always good. Someone is always walking around checking on the customers. I prefer this spot than others in the area.
