Stopped in to get a bite for a late breakfast and had a strawberry treat that can't be beat thank you.

The pastries are exquisite but be ready to pay for the experience of tasting! The espresso drink is priced about what the chains charge so complaint there. The almond croissant had very little of the paste inside which was disappointing. There are breakfast meals available which provide protein and are priced at about what the coffee and croissant cost.

This bakery is really ridiculously expensive! We chose two croissants, two apple pastries and two orange juices and paid over $30. The food was good, but definitely not worth its money.

We stopped here, from experience we knew what great pastries are like, and were not disappointed. Quiet and ready for customers we decided on take outs as we were conti uing our road trip.

I stayed at the nearby hotel and this was the closest place for breakfast so I tried this place a total of four times. This bakery is not very well run. Two of the times the person taking my order messed it up. After the first time paying with a CC I only used cash and good thing because the very next time the person taking my order added something to the bill I never asked for. The coffee is really gnarly. I would not recommend it. I had one breakfast sandwich which was okay. The thing I would recommend was the lunch sandwich which was delicious. I did not try the pastries at all. Use cash only and do not get the drip coffee. They have a really great logo and if they put as much effort into the logo as the do with their service then they would have a wonderful little cafe.

What a gem of a bakery located next to the Carlton Hotel. Stopped in for some sweets to eat in the car on our drive home. The “morning bun” was out of this world. The bakery is charming, pristine and everything looked so good!

Went right when they opened at 7:00; my brother got an almond croissant which had most of the paste in one side, and he would’ve liked it more evenly spread out. I got the morning bun and a chocolate croissant; I had the morning bun right away, and the flakiness was really good, along with the flavor. I will save the croissant for later, and I’m looking forward to a satisfying experience. Right as we were leaving I noticed the bread of the day (specialty bread) was rosemary garlic so I asked about it and the counter girl went to the kitchen and brought back several loaves, bagging up one for me at the same time. It was almost too hot to handle; the smell of garlic was heavenly. My only complaint is that they don’t have a slicer, which complicates things because we’re staying at the Carlton, which limits my ability to do anything right now. I can hardly wait until Thursday (jalapeño cheese bread, yum).

The crunchy crust of some of the bread that are have Whole Wheat as an ingredient are simply amazing after being toasted. There are overtones of yeasty goodness & sour dough, with a crunch that makes one amazing Banh Mi. Besides this location, they also sell at their bakery store on Prado in SLO till 11AM. Both locations give a discount if you order online 2 days+ in advance. Some local groceries or bake good places also carry their bread...such as in Santa Margarita. The ingredients are simple...Flour, Water, Salt, Yeast...but the end result is magic. Likely one of the top local breads on the Central Coast.
