My family and I had a wonderful experience tonight! The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal together.

Our server, Dani, was great! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire evening. We’ll definitely be coming back and will be asking for Dani again! :)

I got a to go order tonight because the food here has never disappointed...until tonight.. I'm unsure if there are new cooks but my favorite thing to get is the chicken Alfredo. Never disappoints..that is until tonight. There is zero seasoning in this alfredo sauce.... blander than sand. The chicken looks like they had left over scraps and just tossed them onto my alfredo which makes me a bit sad. I dunno who was in charge of my food tonight but please teach them the importance or salt and pepper. Please. Considering this dish is 24 bleeping dollars I expect better.. I am SO disappointed.. this was my monthly treat to myself.. now I have to dr it up myself. Which isn't hard, but we go to restaurants to be served well made food..not subpar full priced blander than sand food that we have to fix ourselves. It's disappointing. The girls at the front desk were sweet and I have no other issues.

Best place in Atascadero. The staff is supper friendly. Nicole, Lindsey and the rest. Good people. I’ve been to so many places in the world. This place stands out in its own unique way. Try it! If you come out disappointed, I owe you a drink.

They actually close at 9pm. This place and about 4 other restaurants wasted my time tonight, each with incorrect closing times as I was scrambling to find food before every restaurant actually closes. This kind of disregard for people’s time is a reflection of today’s complacency and apathy. Don’t support rude businesses. Some great people own small/mid sized businesses that would truly appreciate your business and they will have respect for you.

We got the cowboy mac n cheese and the 805 Philly Cheese Steak. I highly recommend both. We got the Danish red beer and their brown beer. Both were excellent.
Our new favorite food is the Tuscan pizza with white sauce. Our new go to.

This place consistently demonstrates that they don’t need customers. Since opening I’ve been maybe half a dozen or so times on various occasions. My best experiences are after a mountain bike ride getting a beer at the bar. My worst experiences are always when I’m trying to sit down for dinner. No matter what service will be slow. I live less than a mile away and like walking my dogs to dinner on nice evenings. Last Saturday (6/14/25) my wife and I walked over at 8:15 and asked for a table on the patio, which had one group on it. We were informed that the patio was closed and we couldn’t order at the bar and sit outside. They are open until 10 on Saturday and everything else nearby was closed. They seem to hire high schoolers that aren’t trained and the management has no idea what’s going on either.

warm June evening and patio is closed. inside is dark like a casino. 20+ TVs and not a single one had Stanley CUP FINALS game six on. Went elsewhere to watch it.

I ordered asian salad. I specifically told no leaf lettuce. Sub iceberg. It was brought to me with leaf lettuce. I refused it. Anther ordered steak. It's was severely charred bad taste. He ordered mas potatoes with it. They brought it out with fries. Stated they were out of mashed. It was only 6:30 pm. Constantly asked to fill our drinks. Just all in all terrible.

I have had multiple bad experiences here and each time it has been the same: we get seated and then wait for over ten minutes for someone to check on our table, they never do, and so we walk out. Exact thing happened today. I was seated on the patio by a hostess. It was 3 pm on a Sunday so it wasn’t busy nor was it empty. No one came to my table— well actually a guy in a Blast n Brew shirt walked up and took a chair from my table without saying a word, such as “may I take this chair?” Or “are you expecting more in your party?” Nope. Just walked up and stole the chair without even acknowledging me. Then a girl server checked on another table and looked right at me as she walked back inside. I almost thought she might come over and ask “have you been helped?” But no, apparently that level of customer awareness does not exist at this establishment. No one bothered to even just bring me a water.

It’s a shame because the times we have had service, the people have been very friendly, so I assume this is some sort of problem with management not having procedures in place to ensure that customers who show up actually get a server in a reasonable amount of time.

Mostly I am posting this because I am rooting for them to improve. Their patio is great and they have one of the biggest and most diverse selections of both food and beer/wine/cocktails in town. But it really doesn’t matter how big or great their menu is if no one ever comes over to ask you what you would like to order from it.

Since opening, Blast & Brew has been on the top of our list of places to eat. Their Monday smash burger is a great deal, and their food is very good any day of the week.
