Cielo - Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar

Been here a couple of times now and enjoyed our drinks and food each time. The meatball appetizer and beef carpaccio are excellent- very flavorful and nicely presented, perfect to share. They have a lovely large round table that can seat 8 people which is great cos you can talk to everyone easily. Service has been very good each time.

We decided to try Cielo on the recommendation of friends and we were not disappointed! There were four of us dining and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server Luis was friendly, knowledgeable, and the service by both he and the other wait staff was fantastic. Great wine, great cocktails, great food; all in all excellent excellent experience! 

Outstanding! From the moment we walked in until we left it was excellent. Excellent service, superb in fact. Prompt, too, we were seated quickly. Our server, Nina, was simply outstanding- her overall service and her demeanor. The food was great, as were the drinks. Absolutely excellent all the way around.

Desi was a great waitress, she was friendly and helpful. The food was great. Then we went upstairs and had a drink at the rooftop bar. The bartender was so nice and easy to talk to and he made a great lemon drop.

The special was the best salmon I have ever had. Absolutely delicious. The service was excellent as well.

Our server Sarah was fantastic. We had a large group of 10+ and she was very friendly and attentive. Will likely come here again next time we visit family.

Was celebrating a bday and they made us feel special with their attentiveness and great service. Wonderful ambience and we enjoyed our meal. We don't live in the area and were visiting from out of town but would definitely return.

12 layer lasagna was not layered -it came out as a spoonful on the plate, the eggplant parm was more cheese than eggplant-drinks were good, other meals at the table were acceptable—roof top bar was nice..we have been to this location a few times-this is the first time it was not great all around.

The food here is fine but not exceptional and it is rather expensive for what it is. This was our second time dining here and we were hoping our first visit was just an off night for them. Unfortunately that was not the case. The Lasagna did not appear to have any ricotta in it and the the bolognese it watery without much meat.

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone: modern, stylish, and inviting. The booth seating was super comfortable, the lighting was warm and elegant, and every detail in the décor felt carefully thought out.

We were lucky to have Kristina as our server, she was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel truly welcomed throughout the evening. Her recommendations were spot-on!

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We started with the burrata and beet appetiser fresh, vibrant, and beautifully plated with toasted bread and balsamic glaze. The charred broccolini with parmesan was simple yet delicious, and the seasonal salad with goat cheese, apples, and pistachios was refreshing and perfectly balanced.

For mains, we tried several pastas and every single one was a standout. The lemony mushroom linguine was delicate, flavorful, and bright. The chicken Alfredo was rich and creamy without being overwhelming, and the radiatori with red sauce and cheese had amazing texture and flavor. But the star for us was the pistachio gnocchi with burrata absolutely heavenly!

We also shared a Margherita pizza fresh out of the wood-fired oven, crisp crust, melty cheese, fresh basil… just perfect. Drinks were well crafted, with balanced flavors and beautiful presentation.

From food to service to atmosphere, Cielo delivered a 10/10 experience. We’re already looking forward to coming back and checking out the rooftop bar next time. This place is a true gem, highly recommend!

We recently hosted a private party on the rooftop bar at Cielo in Atascadero, and I cannot say enough about how incredible the experience was, thanks to Ben, the manager. From the very beginning, Ben went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. For an entire month leading up to the event, he was in constant communication with me, promptly answering all my questions and handling every detail with professionalism and care.

On the day of the event, Ben truly worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly. He was attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our celebration special. The staff was phenomenal- friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The bartenders were outstanding and kept the drinks flowing with a smile.

Thanks to Ben and his amazing team, our party was a huge success. We will absolutely be booking future events at the rooftop bar with Ben at the helm. The evening simply wouldn’t have been the same without his dedication and hard work. Thank you so much, Ben and the entire Cielo team!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner for my girlfriend here. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. We weren't expecting a 2.99% processing fee and a $2.00 salad split fee (nor was it asked if we wanted it split), but overall a really great experience. Definitely going back!
