Delicious sandwich.
Sad to say this was our first visit since it changed hands & it was not good. The bread was dry, the sandwich wasn't cut in half so the whole thing crumbled and fell apart and was pretty impossible to eat.

I was referred here by a client who spoke SO highly of their experience here and went to see for myself ;) 10/10 Easy online ordering (cool casual setup to eat in tho, I wish I’d had the time to), courteous service at walk up and a ridiculously delicious sandy, I only spent 12$ bucks. Seriously, throw money at them they’re THAT good

Today was our first visit, even though we have been aware of it for some years. We’d heard good things and Google gave them a 4.5 so we thought that we would give them a try.
I stepped up to the counter and scanned the menu board. Not seeing exactly what I wanted, I asked the gentleman at the counter which meats they offered. He asked me which bread I wanted, and I asked again about the meat choices. He insisted that we start with the bread, followed by the cheese. Rather than provoke a sandwich confrontation, I ordered a patty melt. My wife ordered a salad.
After I picked up our order, we dug in. My wife said that her salad was not great, but still good. She particularly liked the dressing. Even though I was informed in advance by the menu listing, this was not a traditional patty melt and I ruefully contemplated what was before me. The bread, not the usual corn rye, was vaguely reminiscent of sourdough. The texture more closely resembled a standard white bread, and it was sliced too thin. That fact coupled with the pressure to which iit was subjected in the griddle left it no more than 1/4 inch thick. Also, it was not in the griddle very long, as both sides were barely toasted. Poor quality white bread, cut too thinly and squashed down on the grill more closely resembled a flour tortilla. The nearly tasteless tomatoes, the out-of-place avocado, low quality bacon and chipotle dressing did nothing to alleviate the sandwiches shortcomings. The burger patty was good, but not sized well to the tortilla…er, bread.
Innovating classic dishes is most often a good idea. But, it presupposes that you will respect the attributes of the classic dish in so doing. It would be better to offer the well-loved original and the offer the innovated choice or choices as a recommended option. A side note. The price seemed high for just a sandwich alone with no included side.
To summarize, counter service with attitude, questionable recipe decisions, poor execution and a high price make passing on this eating option an easy decision. I'm sure that their business will continue--the undiscerning are many.

Gettin' Figgy was DELICIOUS. Big enough to split if you're not super hungry.
House sauce is yummy. Kinda like a remoulade.
Lovely outdoor space to sit and play yard games.

Downtown, easy free onsite parking, quick/easy on/off from hwy 101. A few counter seats & tables inside, most of the seating is outside with patio tables/chairs & umbrellas. Order your food at the counter. Service was dismal, waited 5 or 10 minutes for some help, finally walked into the backroom kitchen to get someone's attention. Tried two sandwiches, their tuna sandwich & turkey sandwich, the sandwich bread is basic, the size of the sandwich is fair, the turkey was good the tuna was a definite miss. The bakery sandwich across the street or even Mr. Pickle down the street is a better choice.

These guys are starting to get their act together...
I called and no one answered?, so I drove downtown. (Which is in a bit of a mess right now) I ordered a Western Bacon Cheeseburger for my wife, and I had the Atascadeli Dip. We shared an order of fried zucchini. I had a beer while I waited. My order was ready within 15 minutes, and all three were delicious. Their prices seem high, but not compared to other "take-out" places around. (There's a number of burgers in town for $18 or more) I guess take-out food ain't cheap anymore!? This place is a bargain because their food is great, and the cost, a bit less then other comparable restaurants in town.

I moved to town 4 years ago and this place used to be my favorite place. Quality has dramatically gone down and the service is poor -- unfriendly and rushed.

This place had good food but is now incredibly overpriced and inconsistent. I am also unsure why they're rebranding to colony sandwich Co seems like they're trying to be some slo sandwich places knock off. I miss the original they're losing their small town charm.

Comfortable, a place frequented by locals as well as "stop bys" like myself. There's a great selection of beers and every dish smelled and looked great. I can personally recommend the fish tacos, from very fresh corn tortillas with perfectly crisp, lightly batted fish dusted in cheese with a wonderful sauce & shredded cabbage( hotter on request)- all as it should be. Seating available indoors & out. Definitely a place to return to. Service with a sincere smile.
