We’ve been regular customers since Jan 2011, at least monthly. The meals are always excellent. Wait staff has always been friendly and professional. We’ve taken family members and visiting friends and they are really impressed by the quality.
I’ve only gotten takeout but they by far have THE best chicken fajitas I’ve ever had. I don’t even live in the area and I’ve tried a few places where I’m at, but nothing compares. Idk what they do but they’re so good.
El Compadre had been a favorite of mine for years, it's a small little place but the food is great and staff is fantastic. I usually get the California burrito which I really enjoy. I tried their special on this visit which was a burrito with beef, pork AND chicken, it was very good.If you enjoy Mexican and are in Atascadero I definitely recommend giving them a try.
