Spent a tour in Hawaii with the military for a year, enjoyed all the foods I had over there, came to Kula expecting the same and they over delivered. Very authentic, very tasty, very inspired food.

Wonderful find! For vegans and anyone who likes really good food, this is a welcome respite from the everyday. Hawaiian music, upscale versions of traditional food of the islands, relaxed atmosphere, clean and contemporary decor, and food that is so delicious! For vegans, the fried tofu and the mock poki, just get those, you won't believe how good they are. We finished with a glass of Kula port dessert wine and an amazing mojito. We will be back (often)!
Vegetarian options: Two truly inspired vegan options are the Watermelon Tuna Poke Bowl, and the classy fried tofu. Thank goodness for these great vegan options in Atascadero!

The owners of the restaurant are also the wine makers and they do a fabulous job pairing wines with their delicious food. We went for a wine and cheese pairing then added on appetizers. Vegetarian options, awesome flavors, and everyone wants to ensure you have a great time. We’ll be back!

Excellent new restaurant. Yall, their fried chicken is THE BEST. I mean, we are talking world class level. I'm going to kick all of you in the shins with pointy shoes if you don't go there right away- I need this chicken in my life for the foreseeable future! Also had the poke bowl, which was very good. Very nice people, great open space, will be back many times.

A Taste of Paradise at Kula Hawallan
Kitchen
We recently dined at Kula Hawaiian Kitchen, and it was fantastic! I had the mahi-mahi tacos, which were tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the garlic shrimp, and he couldn't stop raving about it. The shrimp were juicy and the garlic sauce was spot-on.
I enjoyed a glass of wine, and my husband had a beer-both were excellent choices to
complement our meals. The restaurant was clean, the service was great, and the food truly captured the essence of Hawaiian cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

First off, the entire facility is beautiful. There’s a tasting room and a restaurant. The food was so unique and filled with interesting favors. Delicious!!! The atmosphere is very new, still not much art on the walls, but that comes with time.
The server was very good and tended to our every need. Their wines are all Kula Wine which are. Very tasty as well.
You must try the cuisine and let the owners tell you about their ideas, makes for a wonderful dinner!

The owners of Kula Winery have brought their love of Hawaii alive with their new restaurant! Everything was so good and pairs nicely with their wines:
*Loco Moco with beautiful runny egg with a solid brown gravy
*Teriyaki Chicken that's marinated overnight in a housemade sauce
*Ahi Poke, fresh cuts of fish with nice fresh veggies
*Musubi two ways, smoked salmon was not dry and right amount of smoke and Spam had a slightly spicy Sriracha mayo on top
*Fried Tofu had a sweet and salty sauce with a nice fried skin on the outside
*Chocolate kahlua cake with a chocolate cookie crust has a fudgey torte like filling and pairs great with their Hana's blend
*Mochi ice cream four flavors passion fruit, green tea, cherry blossom, and blood orange) goes well with the Picpoul Blanc

Just opened and flawless. The food is fresh and true Hawaiian, not too sweet. Home smoked salmon in the smoked salmon musubi - perfectly wrapped. Side sriracha mayo home made. Flavorful! Grilled shrimp & mango salsa beautifully presented and tasty. Don't miss the Mochiko chicken, marinated then fried, tender and flavorful! Wines are all Kula, superb selection of whites, try the Albarino! Reasonable by the glass! My new favorite restaurant!
