Salsa bar is a nice touch but underwhelming in flavor. Got birria soup in the morning. Basically just a ton of meat with broth on top. Got monotonous really quick. I probably ordered wrong, but flavor is still lacking and there's a lot of other legit good Mexican in town.

This restaurant is so, so good! One of my favorites in Cali. Love the sauce bar and topping options you can grab. Also, unlimited free chips and salsa is nice. I ordered a chimichanga, and nachos. Both were top tier and I’ll have to come back to try the rest of the menu.

La Parilla is hands down Atascaderos best restaurant. They have some of the best Mexican food around. They have an extensive menu with tacos, burritos, barbacoa...The La Parilla burrito is so good. It comes with your choice of meat, plus rice, beans, avocado, bell peppers, and lettuce.Their Barbacoa tacos are to die for. The consomme is so flavorful and full of depth to it, it is that good.Vegetarian options: You can get most dishes without meat. Veggie burrito is really good.Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids. I saw a lot of families dining in there.Parking: This is located inside the Vons shopping center.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is wheelchair accessible.Dietary restrictions: They can make it your way.

Chips and salsa are free. I loved all their spicy salsas. They were very flavorful. My husband requested a spicy veggie burrito. He said that it was one of the best veggie burritos he has eaten. I had mahi-mahi fillet fajita. It tasted good. The restaurant is simple but clean. Staff was super friendly.

This place was awesome. Went late on a weeknight. Great taste and wonderful sized portions. Cherry on top was the very courteous service. The atmosphere is ok as it's a diner in a strip mall but the food& service more than adequately compensates for it.

I don't understand why people like this place so much. Food is average at best. Nothing special and nothing stands out. I have tried them 3 different times.Don't look up at the ceiling tiles. They are really gross.

Stopped here for lunch while passing through. Really great place. Impeccably clean, fresh, hot food, friendly service. The barbacoa tacos with consome are really delicious. Recommended.

La Parrilla is BY FAR the best Mexican Restaurant west of New York City. Take it from a well-traveled Mexican: their carnitas burrito with green salsa is the bomb! And Guillermo & Pepe are absolutely wonderful hosts, as is their welcoming and courteous staff! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LA PARRILLA! Arturo

My Carne Asada burrito was good, but I've had better. Unlimited free chips & salsa. Pickled vegetables were good, but carrots should be peeled!

My lady and I are light eaters. We shared a carne asada super burrito and it reminded me of the taquerias in SF. Been here a couple times now and it's always been good. Best Mexican food I've had in the Central Coast for sure.

Manager or dude with medium short hair gave me the wrong order, wasted my time and money, had no sympathy and was extremely nonchalant about messing up the order. For take out you really need to include the receipt with the order because your word is not enough. You need to understand that time is money and you just wasted both. Time and money, ridiculous and unprofessional.

I ordered 5 asada tacos with everything on there and the meat had no flavor with all of the tacos having a mushy tortilla. considering that we ate it as soon as it came out is astonishing. Our barbacoa fries were swimming in liquid from the meat. the flavor on this was good but all of my fries were soggy. overall a disappointing meal.

A great go to right off of 101 when road tripping between SoCal and NorCal. Solid taqueria mexican which is impressive given the menu options.

We are from the Bay Area and visit our family frequently love this restaurant for Mexican food!! We were in to have dinner with our family and the front staff was very incompetent we ordered , there was no other customers waiting to order and when we wanted to pay but front staff seemed lost and did not know how to run the payment card. And had us waiting at least 15 minutes they even took the terminal and ran to the back to ask for help no one seemed to know how to utilize it maybe they were new employees , not sure but came back to say the debit card would not go through we were so embarrassed and we knew they didn’t even swipe or tapped the card I tried but the terminal seemed to not be in working order could not read the debit card. I also tried another then the front employee states “oh we don’t take debit cards” there is no sign anywhere where this is visible we were here last month and that was not the case I asked if we could try my credit card with my Apple Pay and when I did it was fine . We sit down embarrassed as there is now a line of people waiting to order only to find that the order was incorrect we were so hungry we started to eat and waited but there was a plate missing could not believe this was happening ! Maybe employees should confirm the order prior to charging the food is fantastic but if the customer service is on top of it, it just simply is not worth it!!!
