I’ve been to this store before as a return customer I saw this online drink and wanted to try it for myself .. so I ordered it and they told me they were out of the items to make this drink.. then I asked for a chocolate croissant and when I pulled up to the counter they told me they only had butter croissants I’m just disappointed but I hope it was a one time thing but normally this place is great!

Disappointing Experience at Starbucks on El Camino Real, Atascadero
I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, but my recent visit to the El Camino Real location in Atascadero was disappointing, to say the least. The customer service was abysmal, and the overall experience left much to be desired.
Firstly, the wait time was excessive. It was clear that the staff prioritized Drive-Thru orders, leaving in-store customers like myself feeling neglected. My simple espresso order took far longer than it should have, and I could see order after order going out the drive-through window. Howie
When I politely asked for cream and sugar for my espresso, I was met with rudeness. Apparently, this location no longer provides these items in a self-serve manner, which is both strange and inconvenient. Instead, the staff insisted on pouring the cream themselves and proceeded to pour nearly half a cup into my espresso, completely ruining it. When I asked them to remake the drink, they became visibly upset and acted as though I was being unreasonable.
It’s disappointing to see this level of poor service from a brand that prides itself on customer satisfaction. I hope they address these issues and improve both their in-store service, employee training, and the attitude of their employees. Until then, I’ll be reconsidering my visits to this location.

This store is extra snarky and rude… I’m assuming this must be the atmosphere of management? I’ve never been to a location with so many snarky, rude people working there. I’d go to the one by target or Jack-in-the-Box if I were you, much nicer employees

I have never went through a drive-through so fast in my life I couldn’t even get my wallet put up. My Food was waiting on me at the window. I was super impressed.The girl working the window, super friendly positive attitude, and there was a really nice smell coming out the window I am 100% satisfiedThe bread was super soft and just right and those Sriracha packets really topped off the morning along with my coffee. Thank you guys you did an excellent job you got a nice team. Keep up the good work.
They gave free coffee grounds for gardening which is cool I suppose.

My wife and I stopped in at this location during a trip back from Santa Barbara. The restaurant was quite clean, with the service both friendly and efficient. We very much enjoyed a short break in our travels for some great lattes and delicious sandwiches.
Very friendly service at this Starbucks. Definitely my favorite in the area.

I did not get names however the two young men that Waited on me were extraordinarily kind. One remembered my order from the day before. One went out of his way for me to get items that I wanted. But were not on the shelf yet. Just all around a very pleasant experience always.
