Food was excellent! Very fresh, made to order.
I have eaten it many Mexican restaurants that are this size, and when they make their food fresh, it is going to take a while. The great thing about Susy kitchen, is that everything tasted fresh!
Very friendly service.
We got food to go, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. As you can tell by the photos, the place is relatively small. And for the people eating their, food was served piping hot!

Food was delicious, this is the closest food you will find that tastes like if you were in Mexico. Sunday’s menu is the best, lost of different choices. Cute little restaurant.

The restaurant was clean. The food was fresh staff was friendly and the food tasted good. I’m from LA and East LA this place would hold its own against the east LA establishments.

If you're within 60 miles of Atascadero and haven't eaten at Susy Kitchen, you're seriously missing out on a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest host who made us feel right at home. She even went out of her way to make two fresh salsas on the spot, and let me tell you—store-bought salsas can't even begin to compare to these. The flavors were bursting with authenticity and depth, something you simply won't find anywhere else.
We ordered the Al Pastor Tacos, the Birria Plate, and the Asada Plate, and each bite was an explosion of flavor. It was so good, I wish I could have kept eating, but I was completely full! The portions were perfect, and the food was incredibly fresh.
The outdoor seating was cute, cozy, and welcoming, making the entire experience feel even more personal and charming. It's a must-visit spot that will leave you wanting more. If you're nearby—or even if you're not—make it a priority to eat here. You won't regret it!

Stopped here to take a break. I am from out of town and decided on a Shrimp and Fish taco. Both were amazing with a pepper seasoning. Suzy was amazing, nice and personable. We spoke of other dishes which I decided to try. The Birria was great, made Tostada style, the Chile Verde was great as well but little hot which is what I liked. When traveling this direction, I will be stopping by as well as referring others. 👍👍👍👍👍
