Very good food, nice staff but the place needs a facelift! Great place to get takeout.

My stepdad and I had a great lunch at Thai elephant, we really enjoy getting the lunch specials.... It is just about the perfect amount of food, and a pretty good deal.... Our waitress was very nice, and extremely helpful... The food was also delicious, I get the garlic pepper with chicken pretty much every time, although I should try some different dishes at some point I guess but if it's not broke then why fix it...

I've recently seen a AI Take with two little babies, one as chef, gordon ramsay and the other one was one of the cooks on the show. And I associate this with that because Gordon said. Is there anything that you didn't microwave!!! In the cook said the salad😥 And I relate to this because I ordered the chicken satay, And we were one of the last customers in for the evening. We showed up at 825 and they close at 9 PM.
Anyway, the chicken set a was tough and bland and quite difficult to eat. I was highly disappointed because when I asked the waitress about the chicken Satay. We microwave it. And right then in there I said YOU WHAT! Then I said shame on the cook. This is completely unacceptable. Needless to say, we didn't eat anymore of it. Left it on the table and of course, I paid for it but I just find it Disgusting to microwave chicken, especially for something that's supposed to be tender and tasty as we all know it to be. The cashier chicken that my girlfriend ordered was very good. But since I am looking forward to the other dish. I was highly disgusted and disappointed. On a positive note, the place usually does have good food. But this was just horrible. And I will never order that again or don't know if I'll go back. We'll see what the owner has to say. And yes I did say something to The server while we were discussing it say they were aware of it.

Ordered over $100 worth of take out last night. Been ordering here for years... the food taste and quality has been declining but last night was just bad. Nothing tasted fresh.. little/poor flavor. Literally every dish was 5/10 at best. The portion for the curry is also sad- the container is only half full, it's enough for 1 person barely.

Very disappointing because we loved this place for years. Probably won't come back or order again. Too expensive for low quality food.

Our first time & it’s SO good! The selections are many, the prices are reasonable, the quantities are perfect & the atmosphere is so nice! We loved our server Nok - she is friendly, funny & takes time to establish a rapport. So sweet! They have an outside covered patio with beautiful plants. I highly recommend that you not miss an outstanding dinner here!

Pretty tasty "Pad see yew" - rice noodle can be ordered with tofu and eggs for vegetarians.
Ask them not to put Fish-sauce which only adds salt favor. $13 lunch menu has less rice noodles as it comes with rice, soup and salad. Good value.
$15 for dinner menu Pad see yew- it has more rice noodle with no sides.
All curries have fish sauce which probably can't be taken out.

Vegetarian options: Pad see yew" - rice noodle can be ordered with tofu and eggs for vegetarians.
Ask them not to put Fish-sauce which only adds salt favor.

The service was quick and everyone was so friendly and consistently checking in on us. Didn’t get a picture of the Tom Yum soup because we were so hungry but it was perfect. Had to write a review about the Khao Soi because it’s the best I’ve ever had in my life. Just the perfect balance between the richness of the coconut and the spice of Thai chillies (I ordered it hot). It was so good my partner preferred it over the pad Thai he ordered. Thanks again for the great food and service!

We ate here on a weekend during the middle of the day while the temperature was 112F outside!
Initially we ordered to go since we were on our way to Santa Barbara from The Bay and we had our dog with us.

After we received our 2 orders of the Short rib rice bowl and fresh shrimp roll, instead of continuing with our road trip. We decided to just eat inside to stay kool While one of us waited in the shade , since pets are not allowed inside or in the alfresco area.

So we sat down at an empty table and began to eat. One of the staff members came over to us, with an attitude. To notify them if we change our minds about dining in. What difference did it make?

The restaurant was not full. There were only 4 tables with customers on one side of the restaurant. Also, she didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink.

Was it because I didn't tip for our take out order or that we changed our mind about where we're eating our take out?

Whatever her problem was, we're glad that we don't live here. We gladly will take our business somewhere else.
