My wife and I finally got a chance to visit the Poisoned Apple last night and we’re so glad we did. Very inviting and friendly atmosphere. The owners Cody and Devin are super cool and down to Earth. My favorite drink was the Poisoned Apple Old Fashioned. Delicious with a caramel finish and they even put an orange slice and maraschino cherry in it. Had a great time chatting and laughing with the owners. Will be back soon, thanks again!

This is the kind of place you want to come and just hang out at for hours. They have a wide variety of ciders and meads to try. I opted for the $3 tasters this visit and was not disappointed. Had the chance to try many different creations and find what suited my taste the best. The bartender (did not catch his name) was very friendly and totally encouraged my tasting of as many as I liked. There was the cutest dog roaming around and sunbathing in the front window. Made the place feel cozy. Large patio out back to enjoy our beautiful Atascadero weather.

What a fun little (slightly hidden) gem in downtown Atascadero! Love this place - ambiance is just phenomenal. Talked to the owner Cody about the fact that they just had their two year anniversary! They serve a wide selection of cider, mead, beer and wine! We enjoyed a wonderfully delicious cider flight when visiting! They have an awesome bar inside with ample indoor and outdoor seating, including a massive (long) window seat. They do trivia and holiday / themed parties as well. Another huge bonus - Cody has two of the cutest pups that run around greeting the guests, lounging on the couches and enjoying themselves! I would say that this place has one of the best overall vibes in north county - extremely inviting atmosphere, comfortable seating, great drinks, dogs and awesome people! Thanks, Cody!

I love this place so much. I went here for fun, then as part of my bachelorette party, and the day before my wedding. They have the best Mead, which is freaking hard to find because most people don't know what Mead is, and the hard cider is amazing too! I almost always buy cans or a bottle of mead to go home with. Wonderful people, relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly, and I always feel so safe there. I will continue to tell everyone I can about Poison Apple, and I will continue to be a return customer!

Nothing but amazing things to say about The Poisoned Apple! Their rotating selection of meads and ciders is a niche that the SLO County area was very much missing. The atmosphere is fun, the meads and ciders are great, and Cody and Devon (and their pup Maryjane), are always welcoming. Trivia night on Thursdays is always a blast! There is also a permanent pop up eatery in the back called Slides that slings out delicious foods Thur-Sat.

There is a great option of ciders and on a Friday night they had tocos in the back patio which were delicious! There have a couple dogs that make the night even better! Overall a great bar to got visit I would highly recommend!

The ciders are great and Cody was awesome as he walked us through a cider tasting or two lol lol. The hospitality was wonderful and we cant wait to go back.
