Great food, family friendly, and have great staff. The food was to die for, and the staff were amazing, they were also amazingly fast. 100% worth it, it was a very great experience.

I know that this is supposed to be an iconic place for Atascadero. So, I thought I'd give them another try. It's been 4 years since I last visited and I'm not going back. The food was mediocre at best and the service took forever. It was not very busy. I even overheard other customers complain about how long it took for service.

restaurant was empty, we ordered two rolls and a hand roll. waited 50 mins for the two rolls to show up, and when they finally did, they were on the same plate. which i get it, may not seem like a big deal but when you are hungry and have been waiting extra long, you do not want to share the same plate of food necessarily. the hand roll never showed up and i had to ask for it to go.. awful experience, awful service, will not be going back

“We were excited to try Toshi 1.0 after reading positive reviews. However, when we looked inside before going in, we noticed the sushi chefs had large beards and were not wearing beard nets. That raised concerns for us regarding food hygiene, so we decided not to dine there. The restaurant itself appeared clean and well kept, but we ultimately chose to go elsewhere due to those concerns.”

Toshi 1.0 has always been our favorite local sushi spot. Service is always top notch and the sushi is delicious. When it came time for my husband's 40th birthday, I thought catering would be fun and I was so excited to see that Toshi offers catering. We worked with Rassa to put together an amazing spread of rolls and apps for our friends and Rassa put in the extra time and effort to make sure everything was perfect. Can't recommend this enough!!!
