Food is cold. Service is horrible. The employees shouldn't even be employed in my opinion. They are what is causing this store to lose $!There will be no other car in the drive thru, they tell me to go park my car in the parking lot (in very broken English) & wait for my 1 burger order, which comes out cold. Literally the cheese not even melted. & why should I have to wait in the parking lot when I obviously went thru the drive thru bc I did not want to park my car?This Wendy's SUCKS! Avoid it if you can! The employees are the worst & the food is disgusting!*Also the inside is clean because nobody goes in there. Sometimes they have the front doors locked & tell customers they are "drive thru only". Then you get a cold burger after being told to park your car in the parking lot.In-N-Out is right down the street, 2 minutes away, much better option than this junk food joint! The Wendy's in Paso Robles 10 mins down the street is even a better option.

If I could give zero stars I would. Two times in two weeks I was given the wrong sandwich for my mobile order. When I tried to call the store, all I got was an automated message saying that there was no one available to take my call and to try back later. I don't blame the staff for this oversight but I do blame management.

What a weird day today was for this visit. The burger was delicious as always: fresh and hot, and well made to order, but the fries were definitely old as could be, obviously reheated, yet somehow hard and cold. No salt whatsoever on the fries, and no salt in the bag as requested in my online order on the app. Considering that we were one of only two customers in the place you'd think they'd be able to do a better job.

As a door dasher this place is the worst. Customer service is terrible, orders are never started until way after you get there and then the order is always wrong or missing items.

After seeing all the commercials about the "GREAT" new breakfast menu at Wendy's, I decided to give it a shot. WHAT A MISTAKE. I ordered their new sausage, egg, and cheese English muffin sandwich and their breakfast potato wedges. The wedges tasted stale, were cold, were hard as a rock, and, other than stale, had no flavor. I was able to choke down 3 before I moved on to the sandwich. Unfortunately, the potatoes were the highlight of the meal. The English muffin was even harder than the potatoes, the egg looked like it was from a frozen breakfast sandwich, and after I spit out the 1st bite....without swallowing...I just put everything back in bag to put it where it belongs....THE TRASH. I'd like to say the employee who interacted with me was a bright spot but she was about as cordial as roadkill. Someone REALLY should sue Wendy's for false advertisement on their breakfasts. Never again

This place looks like it is going out of business! No soda in the machine, food is made like crap. Fries have been sitting for hours under a warmer. Nothing is stocked for napkins, drink lids. This is a poorly owned franchise! The manager is here and can't make sure things are up to par. I know this is fast food, but for even fast food they do not meet the standard.

We hadn't been to Wendy's in several months so we thought let's give another try. My grilled chicken wrap was cold with my fries cold, my husband's burger was a mess sauce all over the bun. That's why Wendy's doesn't last in Atascadero .

Atascadero Wendy's we definitely can not recommend. We paid $7.59 each for burgers that came with a wrong bun, tiny piece of lettuce, soggy tortilla chips and couldn't order the meals because they ran out of all Fries Do not bother to go to this one.

The so called manager is the worst!!!!!I ordered a meal and he argued with me saying I didn't ask for a meal! When I tried to talk to him he just closed the window! I asked to talk to the manager and he said he was and then closed the window again! Very Very Very poor customer service!!!! I will not be going back!!!!!

I am giving three stars because overall not everyone there is at fault and the food is not the issue here. Red Flag! Drive through situation. Make sure the total they give you at the speaker is what they ask for at the window. Then check your receipt. This is about more than my $.02 cents. Went through the drive through. The employee (sounds like a younger guy) tells me $19.98 at the second window. Pull up to the window another man an older looking manager opens the window and says "20" (not $20 just 20!) my first thought was "yeah that's what I'm paying with" as I reach for my $20 bill. Hand it to him and thought well I know the kid said $19.98 now I'm curious. Kid asks me to pull around since one of the items wasn't ready and closes the window but now I want to see my receipt that they never offered me. So I wait and they ignore me at the window for a couple of minutes. Finally the kid opens up and I ask for my receipt. He gets it for me, it's at the end of a long list of receipts that weren't given out, and as I review I see the total is $19.98 shows I paid $20 and then says my change was $.02. So I tell the kid "I'm sorry you gave me one total, the manager tells me another, and at the end no change is passed back. I don't really want the two cents but that's not the point here." The manager never comes to the window. The kid apologizes and tries to give me my change but I refuse it saying "If someone needs it that bad they can keep it". So I pull around to the front. The kid comes out soon after, walks up with the order and says "I'm sorry again, here's the two cents". I told him "honestly I don't care about the change. What I care about is people being honest". He says "I really understand we have a business to run here and that's not how you do it. " I replied "My thinking is how often is this done and how quick can change add up. Also if the till is counted and there's cash left over and the receipt shows correct change is given, where does the extra money go?" He said he agreed and understood. I added "My daughter said I'm being a Karen but I'm not mad at anyone I just think dishonesty needs to be brought to someone's attention as it's never okay, you don't let someone try to take advantage of that." Kudos to this kid for his maturity. I feel bad he had to hear it from me but my mind has thought all kinds of scenarios over about how the other guy could have handled it or what his reasoning was and at the end of the day I decided that he chose to just be dishonest.
