As a vegan for 8 years I can't express how happy I am that a local food truck offers veggie tacos with whole beans! Most places only offer refried beans which always contains lard (animal fat based grease) which isn't suitable for vegans. The tacos were filled with beans, rice, cabbage, avacado. Also comes with a side of grilled onions, grilled jalapeños and pickled carrots! The red Salsa was a bit too spicy for me but had great flavor! All around an absolute hidden gem and win win! I'll try the veggie burrito next time! Can't wait!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐???Absolutely love this place I'd eat here practically everyday when I was pregnant. So glad I found them. The only thing I'd eat besides from salads or anything health related. Torres Tacos got me eating both my tortillas again and flour tortillas! Thank you to them for knowing exactly how I like my food. They feed me better than my husband of 14 years. I love the wife and husband team. They're both very sweet people that make some of the best food on this earth. Their salsas are fu*king amazing ??? they're perfect, both of them together. I cannot just choose one. I drive from one hour away multiple times a month just to enjoy their food. I'm miserable since I've had to move further away from my favorite food on this earth. I eat nothing out here. I literally go hungry until dinner time by then I have to eat something. Manteca, Stockton literally has the most disgusting Mexican food you'll ever find and Mexicans are not the same up here as they were back home!!! If you live close to Torres Tacos Atwater, CA consider yourself BLESSED✨ No matter when I call or how large the order they always say 10-15 minutes and never take any longer, it's always fresh. Everything is amazing. I love their grilled onions, my radishes are always fresh. They put onion and cilantro on my tacos. They grill the most amazing giant jalapenos. There is no negative when it comes to this place. I could eat here forever. The way the tortilla for the the burrito is grilled is amazing. I could eat their yellow tortillas by themselves that's how amazing they are. I have one wish that they made sopes or huaraches ? another one of my favorite foods. I only imagine they'd be amazing just like their tacos and burritos ???BEST BUSINESS IN MERCED COUNTY!?Everything was great ? I loved both red and green salsas. My kids loved their regular carne asada burritos. Came with avocado ? surprisingly, at least all my kids enjoy it. I love that they use yellow corn tortillas!! We love grilled onions and jalapenos and they serve them with their tacos ++? I loved their multigreen natural juice. My husband liked the raise the dead, both were super fire.
