Great visit this past Saturday! The tasting was great and included a few varieties of gin, whiskey, bourbon, and brandy. Purchased the Arm & Yak blood orange brandy as well as the Carol's favorite aged gin. Everything tasted wonderful, but those two were the most unique. Will visit again and highly recommend!
Cute little hole in the wall distillery! There was a wide verity of liquor to taste and there’s definitely something for everyone. We were able to taste all of his offerings and went home with my personal favorite, his blood orange brandy. If you’re in the Auburn area on a Saturday, this is a great place to stop by!
Really great service & they know their craft! Highly recommend checking this place out.
This is the best Gin and the owner has a heart of gold. I buy all my spirits from him! I drive from Sacramento now just to see him and buy his products. Worth the drive!!!!
balanced and smooth. great on ice or mixed drink. amazing for French 75!
Everything here is so smooth and drinkable neat. I'm a fan and will be collecting all 5 varietals (gin, whiskey, bourbon, rye, brandy). The gin is the one you can find at retailers throughout CA but the others you can only find at the distillery since they are so small batch. The owner is super nice, friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and enhance your liquor collection with something from this distillery.
I stopped in to see Ed on a whim. I tend to like bold flavors in general. I settled on a bottle of smoked rye, Scotch. Over the course of a few months, I sipped this whisky and knew it was special - at least to me. I honestly don’t know how it would have compared to anything store-bought, and frankly, I don’t care. Thanks for a superior product. I’ll see you soon. (it’s gone) : (
Small tastings but don't let that fool you! These are high proof spirits. The gin is unique and worth taking a bottle home. The whiskey is still aging but he offers barrel tastings. Also has cocktail offerings. Lots of fun to talk to the distiller about his products.
Ed's distillery is a little hidden gem northeast of Sacramento! Loved his special seasonals Aged Gin (Carole's Favorite- his wife) and that Smoked Rye 👌 (picked up a bottle today!). Worth stopping in if you're doing brewery tastings too in the area. If you want to find his Darjeeling Gin at local spots, try Whole Foods and I believe he said Nugget. But if you don't, just visit! He's open every Saturday 😉.
Awesome!

Drove up on a rainy Saturday around TG and met Ed, who promptly gave us a tour of his distillery and some of his gin. Seriously, the best gin I've ever had. His whisky is on point too, though it won't be available for a couple years... Ed is an awesome dude with an awesome product. Will definitely check it out every time I'm back in town.
