I've eaten at Hanami many times haven't for approximately six months. Tonight I was disappointed. I ordered hanami nigiri and a rainbow roll and both were very underwhelming, especially for the price. I don't think the rainbow roll had the usual pieces of fish. And I don't care for the sweet sauce they drizzled over it. That's new I'm pretty sure. Seems like a cover up for the substandard roll and the nigiri might of had 50 grams of fish total for $7.95. Very disappointing!!

Ordered a Sashimi special B. Fresh and sumptuous! What counts most is the care by the chef. It was worth it , more than I asked for. The atmosphere is comfortable with the server who sounds articulate.

This is probably the best sushi I've ever had in my life. The OMG roll and Yummy roll are completely piled on with toppings. The Golden Gate is a super good deep fried California roll. Their Lincoln Way is the best baked salmon roll there is. I try a baked salmon roll at every sushi place I go to, and I have never found one better than Hanami.

Can crab mush, warm raw fish topping on a $19 roll, ahi thick slices like it’s a chicken. Let that go and didn’t say anything. But then… Worst of all, when I let the waitress know the sunonmono (cucumber salad) know that it tasted like fish she shrugged her shoulders and said “I dunno, you want me to grab it out of here”I said “umm it tastes like fish and it’s cucumber”She then again just said “I dunno “Walked away and still charged it on our bill. The lack of social skills and manners in our youth is disturbing!!! Who hired a green haired blank robot to a nice little auburn neighborhood sushi place. She should probably do better in a factory where she doesn’t have human contact or have to use customer service. I’ll be telling everyone I know in my Auburn community to NOT EVER go to this place. ?
