Food was incredible and very filling. I split the classic butter chicken with my sister and we both had plenty to eat. The pricing was great for the quality of the food. The staff were super nice and fast without feeling overbearing. Talking to the server felt more like having a conversation with old friends. He didn’t try to upsell anything. I absolutely will come here again.

We had a lunch buffet here and most of the items were tasty 😋

Pleasantly surprised! Ordered DoorDash and the butter chicken was flavorful, a bit spicier than I’m used to for butter chicken but not crazy spicy, just VERY flavorful and delicious. Loaded with chicken (I mention this because we’ve been disappointed with other Indian delivery for lack of protein) They had a buy 1 get 1 for the onion naan so we tried that, had fresh chunks of red onion, and it was good but I prefer a plan naan. We had to take advantage of the offer lol. Currently eating left overs because of the generous portions.

Delicious food and decent size restaurant. Very clean. The food portion is pretty big and great flavor.
Great addition to Auburn. Comparable to the bay area Indian food.

The food was fantastic!! I've had a lot of Indian food and this was the best place I've been to. Everything is seasoned with care and well balanced in flavor. The medium was actually medium and a nice warmth and depth of flavor compared to other places I've been. The staff is great and even have some recommendations of what they liked the best and what was popular. I'm very surprised and confused that this place wasn't super busy for dinner

Some notables:
- Skip the Chicken Biriyani (rice undercooked, no discernible flavor)
- Entrees come with rice, so you will not need bread specifically
- Butter Chicken seems to be the safest bet - gravy is ok, chicken is plentiful and cooked but not flavorful enough to be authentic but edible
- Temper your expectations. This place stays open longer than other sit down diners and has clean enough bathrooms and parking is right by the door. Also close to the only supercharger on the way to Tahoe - what else could you want?

India Oven is the fast food of Indian restaurants. It's lacking the flavor and complexity of the better Indian restaurants I've been to. The atmosphere and service seems out of place for the quality of the food.

Apparently they stopped including white rice with their entrees and didn’t let us know when we got take out. We left a good tip and still had to unexpectedly make rice when we got home. Not a great experience

Went there for our anniversary dinner. The food was hot, steamy, and delicious. I got the tikamasala shrimp, and my husband got the tandoori chicken and we had lamb samosas to start. Everything was so yummy. The service was fast and attentive when we needed water it was refilled quickly. We will absolutely be back to try the lunch buffet
