Wow! Everything is very delicious here. The lamb curry was so yummy and the rice was fluffy and tasty. I especially enjoyed the tandoori chicken with salad and raita. Gary was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. My sister and I enjoyed dining here multiple times. Always a great experience.

For overall flavor and recipes, I prefer the Grass Valley location, especially the improvements they've made the past couple months. However, I do love the fact the Auburn location has a buffet, and doesn't seem to close between lunch and dinner. The food was enjoyable as well. We ordered the vindaloo and the creamy chicken. I'll be back.

I found my new favorite restaurant! Warm and inviting environment. Love the service, very personable. We had their lunch buffet. They had a wide variety to choose from. My favorite was the fried fish, deep fried broccoli, and fresh chunks of pineapple. They also served a chicken masala. Everything was amazing.. I left the restaurant feeling refreshed and energized for my day. #HealthyEating.

The WORST Indian Food I have ever had. Everything is over-spiced and tastes the same. This bears no relationship to actual indian food. Frankly, it's disgusting.

This place is such a huge disappointment. Their Roseville location was always pretty good, Grass Valley too... but the Auburn location is incredibly inconsistent.... the Tandoori chicken I ordered last night was incredibly dry and flavorless, the Aloo Gobi was also lacking taste and the vegetables were barely chopped... just huge chucks of boring flavorless cauliflower.... Royal Indian downtown is WAY better........ such a shame.

Hi so i was there last week at indian oven in auburn i useto go there from 2 years and now i think they change staff , i order some food about like 80$ and they served me frozen food its smells like poop and they just saves food frome partys and put in frozen and when somebody order it they just worm it up & serve that to custmers. When i just goinside to complain about quality i think there was owner that day he dont want to listen about there food and he start argument and he denied to make a fresh food and he start showingoff there like he saying he have 5,6 stores and nobody complaine about food frome 10years ,Those words not making any sence ,if owner got that badass atituded so what about the workers ? I will not go there anymore No more bussnes for them

My Sister took me there for my first time on my Birthday. I had prawns in a moderately spicy cream sauce over rice. Best restaurant meal I've had since moving to North Auburn. They can expect lots of online/delivery orders from me...(!)
