On the way to Lake Tahoe, we stopped in Auburn at this Jack in the Box branch for a quick snack. Unfortunately, the visit was not particularly pleasant. The restaurant was dirty: Waste lay on the floor, several tables were not cleared, and overall the dining room seemed unkempt. The staff were friendly, but also appeared in dirty clothes, which added to the poor overall impression. Several drinks were not available at the soft drink vending machine because they were apparently not refilled. The burgers themselves were fine and served their purpose, but also did not rip anything out. For safety reasons, we have always kept an eye on our car outside. Overall, this stopover was rather disappointing.

Typical, but wasn't busy during the lunch hours the two times o went there. Also, probably a one off, it took a little longer to get my food but they hooked my burger up with two of everything.

Service was prompt, engaging, and friendly. Spicy chicken sandwich was hot, juicy, and tasty. Easily accessible off of the freeway. Definitely will return.

Only two cars ahead of me . First car waited and waited to place a order. Then the person a head of me had to wait and wait to order. It too me 25 minutes to order and to get to the window when I said what is taking so long I have been waiting for 25 minutes to which she replied if you are going to raise your voice at me I WILL REFUSE SERVICE to that I just drove off because with a attitude like hers they might have spit or done something to my food. Well I had already handed her the money for my order so they just got a $20 dollar tip and good ridden I will never go back there again. For $20 dollars a hour they should improve their service.

This should not be classified as fast food. They are clearly under staffed, and whatever system they are using to manage orders is not working. It took 30 minutes to get our “fast” food, and because everything was completed at different times, most of the food was cold.

This place needs trained workers. Can't even take a order correctly. Ask for napkins get 1 ask 3 time for a sandwitch got the wrong one. Put the fries upside down in the bag. WOW.
Ordered a chicken sandwich and it was nasty. I took two bites and the rest of it it was like had the tendon going through the whole thing could not eat it. Tried to switch it to the other side and they had tendons in it too nasty

Well normally I wouldn't complain but when you forget my drink my fries mess up the burger. Then get me quote the right one" and then it's completely wrong. How does a bacon burger not have bacon? Just save yourself the trouble and don't waste your time coming here. It is literally not worth the money and you won't get the right food. Even my tacos were done wrong. Every single thing was wrong except the curly fries. I give it an f. And this is not their first failure but it will be their last with my family
