after waiting 15 minutes, we received a four top. They were so busy and went out. We would switch over to a two top so they can set a four top people not even here in a thank you. We ordered our food. The people at the four top sat down after us got food was eating before us on the food. Come out order the chicken fried steak chicken fried steak was so dry way overcooked crunchy as the potatoes were way overcooked they were dark. The gravy had no flavor. He only had the waitress come back to the table one time nobody come back and ask how the food was my eggs roll cooked. I don’t know exactly how I want the eggs cooked. I don’t have understand how people can give us a five star rating. This is definitely not a five star restaurant in my opinion and I eat a lot of restaurants. My wife had an omelette and couldn’t finish it. It was good but it wasn’t that good she said.

I ate there many years ago with my husband for the first time I can still remember those lemon yogurt pancakes they were delicious as everything we had left CA so haven’t even back in a long time next time there I will definitely make my way back .. so good

Update: really bad customer service today, unexpected from Katrina’s. It was my 6th time here, loved it all the time except for today on my bday. Came to pick up food we ordered in advance since we only have 1 hr for lunch (tipped big too) and the usual lady waiter was really angry for no reason and also she made a big scene in front of the other customers. we quietly sat outside to eat in peace. looks like we’ll be going to Briar Patch from now on, didn’t expect that from Katrina’s Cafe.
Best place, best food, best service.

The food was horrible the gravy is gross with chunks of canned meat with a sweet taste. Chunk of bone in the country fried steak unfortunate and unlucky. The zucchini omelet was swimming in a soupy mess. At least the Pepsi was carbonated.

When I asked what in the menu was vegetarian, the server (older lady) said that she didn't have time to go over the menu. Not sure it was because of my skin color as she rudely left and started giving attention to the customers on the other table. If you don't have patience then don't be in customer service profession. This is not our first time coming here but this definitely was the first time being treated like second class citizens. We got up and walked out. We will no longer be coming here. If you guys are so busy hire more staff. If you are having a bad day don't take it out on your customers. End of the day it's the customers that build a business.
