Best Chinese food ever. We always look forward to the meal when we are heading back from skiing. Servers are friendly and the restaurant is comfortable and clean. Love the cute location in downtown Auburn.

Worst experience ever. The young waitress had an attitude the minute we entered the restaurant, then didn't bother coming out from behind the counter to show our table, but instead threw us a wave of the hand in a nonchalant manner while brushing us off with a "just sit anywhere" Then to top of off, they threw the menu on our table like we were not welcome here. Because they didn't allow us to bring our small dog, we had to leave early. Ruined our night...

Love the location!! Service is excellent, food is very good, portions are fair. We had plenty to take home for leftovers. Definitely will return and highly recommend.

Portion size on the food is extremely small I paid almost $18 for less food than I would get it panda express. There was also a sticker left on the bell pepper that they chopped up and put inside my Mongolian beef. I don't recommend getting their combo plate it's definitely not worth it.

My wife and I came here Christmas Eve. The food is priced very reasonably and we loved everything we ordered. We ordered dumplings, general tsao’s chicken and Singapore noodles. All of our dishes were absolutely delicious and we were sad we were only staying in Auburn for a short while because we really want to go back. This place is amazing and rivals Chinese food in the Bay Area.

I almost always get the Beef Chow Mein, and today was no exception. Portions are excellent, food is prepped timely, served quickly and pleasantly, and ALWAYS tastes great.Located where they are, parking is tricky in that it is a touristy area and is ALWAYS packed with people.

I wanted to say a big thank you to everybody at the Mandarin kitchen. Christmas day was extremely busy for them, but yet it was still awesome service I heard other people being snotty to them for being so busy. For not getting to their tables right away, but for goodness sake‘s it was Christmas and there wasn’t a whole lot of restaurants open. thanks to them they worked Christmas Little bit of patience and kindness goes a long ways. Thank you Liu mandarin kitchen.

Would be 5 stars but I accidentally put too much soy sauce on my dumplings. Not enough screaming children so I never was able to fully relax

I ordered Singapore Noodles (Mei Fun). "With its signature curry flavor and yellow hue, Singapore Noodles are made with thin rice noodles, prawns/shrimp, Chinese BBQ Pork, egg and red capsicum/bell peppers." (*) But what I got was a soup with chow mein noodles and some other ingredients. (*)
