This pizza is out of this world delicious. Had to eat it in the car on the way home, we couldn't wait. Don't forget the cheese curds, yummy.?

I got home late from class, Was hungry but nothing sounded good. I decided on "snacks" for dinner, saw Lucky J's had a decent coupon on Doordash, so I tried them. I didn't get pizza, but the garlic breadsticks (+ cheese) were A-MA-ZING! I know that's a bold claim for some breadsticks, but these were fluffy, perfectly buttery little pillows of garlicky, cheesy goodness. I got 4 thinking there would be a couple leftover for tonight.... Not so much. Also got 6 boneless buffalo wings, and I just have to say: YUM! They were fried nice and crispy, the chicken was still moist and juicy, and they weren't drowned in sauce. There was plenty, but they weren't swimming in a pool of buffalo sauce. All the fat kid accoutrements were included at no extra charge, ranch and marinara for the breadsticks, ranch and bleu cheese for the wings, paper plates, napkins etc. Overall, very happy I tried something new. I'm already craving more of those breadsticks... ??

Meh. We have tried every pizza in Auburn and this pizza (we got the combo with pineapple and jalapeno)was the worst. The crust was barely cooked, bottom soggy. Supposedly it's a sourdough crust, but I'd be hard pressed to discern any sourdough flavor and I am no stranger to sourdough. The toppings were good, the sauce didn't add or detract. We were greatly disappointed after spending almost $40 for this pizza. I've read the other reviews and all I can figure is they are relatives, paid, or soaking up booze after partying at pistol Pete's. There are so many better options in town. Sorry!

Great food. He uses sourdough so it makes the pizza excellent. Wings are the best I've found in the foot hills. His prices are fair and portions are on point.

Lucky J's not only has great pizza but it's also the most delicious pizza around. Some even compare it to New York style pizza.
First time in auburn and I wanted a good local pizza and I was not feeling that bad for spending a bit more than usual. But this was by far the worst pizza I have had for the price I paid. It was paper thin and so greesy that I couldn't even eat it. Maybe it was a off day. But I would have had a better experience if I would have gotten digiorno pizza. The wings were good which is why I gave one star.

Great pizza tasty lots of cheese lots of greace I enjoyed it. Perfect for when you want a pizza at midnight and you need to kill those late night munches.
This is THE BEST pizza in Auburn. If Anthony Bourdain were still alive and visited Auburn, this is where he would go. The pizzas at Lucky Js are a perfect meeting of traditional expectations, and creative variation. The sauce is tangy and generous, toppings on every bite, and sometimes you can hardly even see underneath all the toppings they include. Whenever I have people visiting from anywhere outside of the area, this is where I order pizza from. The wings are amazing, and the dine in experience, while it isn't exactly Michelin star, is perfect for exactly what Lucky J's is. A truly unique and wonderful gem in a marketplace oversaturated by dominos rip offs.

Delicious PIZZA! Great vibes. Lucky J's is locally owned and operated. It is the perfect environment to dine in and play their games, watch a game on their tv's or just chat with friends or family. We highly recommend Lucky J's!

70 year old sourdough starter used for the dough... best pizza in Auburn by far.
I actually work for DoorDash and they are very friendly and on time. I have not had the pleasure of eating here, but everything I pick up smells amazing!
I have watched and tasted over the years as local pizza places got worse and worse. Cheaper and cheaper ingredients with a near total loss of flavor. I mean Dominos had the best tasting sausage toward the end! Lucky J's has been our go to pizza place for two years now and the quality of ingredients is top notch. Every ingredient tastes like the best representation of that ingredient.
