Food was okay. I've eaten here a few times and the prices have gone up a lot! Our bill was $50 (with tip) for two meals and two soda drinks. We ordered a stack of pancakes and a French dip! Will not be eating here again just because of the steep prices for what we ordered.

I had a friend bring me here and wow! Its so good, the biscuits and gravy were very excellent! Great sauces as well and a charming caring atmosphere. Lots of locals so you know its good! The service was perfect with coffee top offs and excellent conversation. Thanks Nina for showing me this wonderful spot.

The staff is as kind as they are competent. Nancy treats every customer like her best friend. The portions are hearty and filled with flavor. There is often a wait, but you will never wait too long and it is always worth it! Any given day or hour of the week the cafe will be filled with half locals and half visitors driving through. I cannot say enough amazing things about Nancy herself as well as her staff and the food. Do yourself a favor- eat good food and leave happy without breaking the bank!

Nancy's cafe was a great find. My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday and enjoyed an omelet with crispy bacon and hash browns. It was a large portion and we split it. In addition it was served with an English muffin and great jam. Nancy herself was our waitress and she was charming funny and fast! We can't wait to go back. Great location - it's right off the freeway. Perfect for those going to Tahoe!

Spent $40 For Two, Left Disappointed. I don't understand how this is #1 for auburn, genuinely the food was unappetizing, and incredibly high priced. The taste of the biscuits and gravy had a real faux smoked meat and burnt flavor. the sausage patty didn't even taste like italian seasoning was used, had some real funk. but either way all three of our plates were able to maintain a dirty wash rag taste.

I drive out of my way to eat here when I go to Tahoe. I take 80 from the Bay area to get to South shore lake tahoe just so I can go to breakfast here. It's that good! Our new favorite breakfast place in Auburn! Crazy busy on a Sunday (for good reason) but they seated us as soon as possible. Friendly and welcoming staff, quick and attentive service, and ***amazing*** food! My family has food allergies and dietary needs, and this is clearly important here. Found this place on yelp and it was really good. The service is good and staff was funny and friendly. Good coffee and the food was excellent at a really good price too. The place was packed but we didn't have to wait too long. Come hungry the portions are really big too.

The service was great our waitress was so funny! And the FOOD! OMG AMAZING!!!! I had the juiciest yummiest breakfast tacos and the freshest fruit! I loved that the mixed fruit wasn't all melon like most restaurants. 10000000% recommend.
