I don’t normally eat vegan. I ordered a burger and it was delicious. The patty sides were crispy. The flavor was delightful. Everything was so fresh. I came in with a gift certificate, not knowing that the place had changed ownership. The new owner was so gracious to accept the certificate I had. I don’t get in this area often, but when I do, I will be sure to come here again. I would recommend Nectar to anyone whether you’re vegan or not.
My husband and I found this cute café on our way home to Santa Cruz and Im so glad we did. The food was healthy and delicious! We both had the BLTA and it was so good. And the cookies were great too. Nectar Cafe' will be our go to restaurant on our visits to Auburn.
I’ve been to Nectar many times since becoming vegan six years ago. The atmosphere is cozy. The cooks and servers are talented and friendly. And truly, everything I’ve ever had there is delicious. They make the best guacamole, the daily soup offering is always spot on. I usually get the Tempeh Reuben ( it really does taste a lot like the other kind!), but a few days ago I tried their seasonal Orchard Burger. Their house-made vegan patty is awesome. What stole the show was sautéed...
